This piece is not a children's novel. I'd hardly even call it sci-fi, but it sure fits that description well.
Animal Investigators is a series detailing not just the supernatural happenings in the world it depicts, but also how our very humanity is inseparably interwoven with the world we all share.

Enjoyable by readers of all ages, it is Gates' use of stunning imagery and believable characterization that her immaculate craft of worldbuilding flourishes to a crown. Read this book if you want not only to enjoy it with family or others, but all the while learn little nuances about people, creatures, and the world around us that in the end bring you to a breathtaking introspection.
