Tucker Stone never wanted to be Sheriff. He's just a Dom and he wasn't looking for a relationship. Yet here he is wearing a Silver Star on his vest, a gun on his hip - and a woman that's nothing but trouble upstairs shackled to his bed.
He could always take off the badge, and hang his gun up - at least temporarily. But the woman in his bed was an entirely different matter. For the first time ever he just might decide to keep her - at least then she'd be his...TROUBLE.

Received a copy! These Stone men are alphas from head to toe. They know what they want and protect with all mind, body and soul. Tucker Stone is a massive man with a side to him that may give you a bit of a surprise. Cree Nations gives you heat, great characters and a story with a little suspense to it. What I like about Cree Nations story telling is she continues to give more details into the lives of other characters as well as developing the main characters. The surprises keep you on the edge and "oh boy" when they are revealed it is an "ah hell" moment! Tucker is a great read and you will continue to want more of the Stone men.

After the Stone family takes back their town, Tucker is basically forced to take on the role of sheriff. He didn't ask for this and sure as hell doesn't want it. Keegan and Tucker meet and have a world of secrets between them.
This is the second book that I've read by Cree Nations. Although the storyline is good, the same issues remain from the first one. The multiple POV's make the book busy and difficult to follow. The spelling and grammatical errors are distracting. Combined with a shifting timeline, which interrupts the pacing and flow, this book needs some work.
Similar to the first book, this one has potential, but is let down in the execution.
Tucker is the second book I have read by Cree Nations. While I love the first book in her Texas Heat Series, Tucker is even better. Tucker takes on the job of being the sheriff. It's not a job he wants, but now that he's wearing the badge he does the job. He doesn't let it get in the way of being a Dom though. It's who he is and he makes time to do what does. Keegan is sent to do a job. Her family depends on it. Unfortunately, things don't go as planned. Now, she's in Tucker's life. Will Tucker keep Keegan in his life? Can Keegan save her family? Will outside forces threaten to take everything away from both of them? Cree Nations' books are absolutely amazing! I cannot recommend Tucker enough. You will laugh, cry, get mad, and read about hot alpha males. Another thing I love is that you are kept guessing from page one until the end. When you think you have something figured out, a twist has you second guessing everything. Do not hesitate to buy this book!
Tucker Stone is the second book in The Texas Heat series by Cree Nation. I would recommend reading the first book in the series Malakai so you don't miss out on some important details in that stories.
There is so many stories going on in this book. It's not just about Tucker's story happening. You have some great side characters stories going on too like his Cheif Deputy Sam Cahill ( Samantha) and Crow's story. You have so many twist and turns that it keeps you turning the pages till your at the end of the book. You will go through so many different feelings while reading this book. Love, sadness, anger, lust and many more.
I received a complimentary copy in exchange for a honest review. Review by Melissa K for HEA Fanatics.
This is book two in the series and the stories keep getting better. I was not a fan of Tucker when the story starts out but he slowly won my book heart. This book had some crazy twists and turns that I was wondering what would happen next and although I was usually wrong with the direction the story was taking I was captivated until the end. There was so much action in the bedroom and out that I could not put it down. Keegan had to work hard to win Tucker’s heart but she was his perfect partner. I look forward to reading more about the Stone family in future stories and hope to revisit Tucker and Keegan somewhere in that mix.
From the beginning to the end there was no way to know which way the story was going to go. Each character introduced gave me hope that there will be a book for each one and I can not wait. I am so looking forward to Zach's book! On a side note: Pepper Bouchard in my mind is not what we are expecting him to be I have high hopes for him please don't disappoint.
This is Cree Nations second novel. I have to tell you I disliked Tucker immensely at first. But by the end of the book I was totally in love with him. I shed a couple of tears. There were so many twists and turns in this book. When you think you have something figured out then BOOM you don't. I received a complimentary copy for honest review.
Not sure how it happened because he wasn't portrayed as a great guy in the beginning, but I ended up loving Tucker Stone, and his big crazy family. The story is twisty, exciting, and action packed, with some naughtiness woven in that is incredibly drool worthy and satisfying. I can't wait for more of the Stone Family!
I loved Malikia but Tucker Stone was even better. I was wrapped up in the family drama from tears to laughter and plenty of suspense Cree Nations brings a wonderfully tragic story full circle and leaves you craving more
OH how the mighty will fall. There is nothing like a sexy unpredictable love story. This action filled story will keep you fully captivated waiting to see what surprise the Stone family has for you next. You can't help but fall head over heels for Tucker Stone.
Oh my!!! There's not enough stars for this book. I fell in love with Tucker. He's one Sheriff that women could drool over. I think I will do a re-read of this book. Holy moly.
Wow this series is just full of action! I'm in love with the entire Stone family thus far. They are a No Holds Barred family that takes care of business..NOW. This family has all the best kind of Alphas you could ask for along with their Dom side makes them even hotter! The "good ol' boy" network (the greed of money) is what is behind the misery of the Stone family and it seems to never end. Once they think they've ended the "good ol' boy" network another one is in place to cause misery. People they trusted have turned to corruption for the almighty dollar and so far they Stone family isn't done trying to rid Cripple Creek or anywhere else of the corrupted. Malakai and Tucker have been introduced along with others but these two are the main targets of the Stone family so far in the series and I can't decide yet which I like more, guess I'll have to see the rest of the series to decide. Cree you bring the heat big time in the Texas series! I enjoy the writing style of alternating the characters throughout the story and still keeping focus on the main ones. You've got Aplha males with some really strong female leads and the combonation is explosive! The scenes are hot and the action a turn on of adrenaline and heat!
I loved this book from the first page of the book and maintains enough action to keep you involved in the story. Action continues with continuing to clear out the corrupt public officials and people in the area. The interactions between Tucker and Sam are hot and at times funny. Action packed throughout the book. Cree Nations is able to write characters who are believable and reaction in realistic ways. Can be read as a standalone. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I loved that there was twist and turns all through the book, it kept my interest! The characters are very complex but I had no problems relating to them. I stayed glued to the pages intrigued to see what was next because this book is a constant action of heated battles and sex. I am ready to read the next in the series to see how much more excitement is in store.
Okay so there are ALLOT of Stones, riders, corruption, hired guns, etc in such a supposed small town. This book keeps you on your toes from beginning to end with all the suspense, action, death, attempts murders, babies, kidnapping, etc, etc. Now you see why I said BUSY!!
Cree Nations has done it again with her 2nd book in the Texas Heat Series! Tucker is an amazing book full of adventure. It will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. You do not want to miss this series! Time to one click. You won't be sorry!!
Book two out of this series is as eventful as book one. This isn’t only Tucker and Keegan’s story but also Crow and Sam’s story. Which I think is pretty cool. Again it’s packed with brotherhood and twists and turns. And let’s not forget about the hot scenes. Looking forward to the next book.
Designation: Book 2 in the Texas Heat series, ends in a HEA with Epilogue
This is my first Cree Nations book and I really liked Tucker’s story. This is book 2 in the Texas Heat Series. So Tucker has just been forced to take the job as Sheriff by his brother, District Attorney, Zachariah. He hires Sam Cahill to be his Chief Deputy who looks great on paper but happens to be Samantha in person. She is being threatened by her ex so she moves in with Tucker. You would think they would maybe become more, but she ends up connecting with his cousin, Crow Ashworth. When he is on his way into town he stops to help a motorist who turns out to pull a gun on him. She turns out to be Keegan Tatum Parker who has been hired and forced by Senator Morgan to take out Tucker and the whole Stone family. Will he be able to get to the bottom of the threat to the family?
So that is only about 10% of the plot. This book is packed full of action and keeps you guessing the whole way. I really enjoyed the story with a few observations. First, since I didn’t read book 1, I felt like some of the history of the Stone family was missing…there were brief references to military service and a dark past as part of the MC and their father’s legacy but not much substance that I could connect to. Second, there is a BDSM club, but really no scenes take place in the club, it is just skipped over….”turns out her limit was any and everything Tucker wanted to do” from Chapter 4....that was it....then they came downstairs! I felt robbed of some steamy scenes! Lastly, OMG, the number of characters is off the chart. There are about 70 named characters….seriously WAY TOO MANY! I had to create a full character tree just to keep straight who is related to who and since there are 4 MC Clubs some of the characters have multiple names and there is also some confusing names - Jake, Justice, Jubal, Junior, Jeremiah, Jackson and Clayton, Cameron, Cordero, Cord, Chaney, Crow, Cassidy, Cutter, Caleb, Callie, Claire just to name a few. The copy I read was not the final version, so some of these issues may have been changed in final edits. Overall I am interested in reading more in the series.
*REVIEW STARS* Hero: Tucker 4 stars Heroine: Keegan 4 stars Steam Level:2 stars Plot: 4 stars Overall: 3.5 stars Cliffhanger: no Keys: His POV, Her POV, MF, BDMS Hints, Action, Suspense, Alpha, Bad Boy, Cop/Military, Wealthy, Hard to Follow

An amazing book that will make your heart race almost from the first page . Tucker Stone is made sheriff , not that he wanted the job & he is mainly a law unto himself . As well as being sheriff hes also a master dom , member of no mercy mc , his family is very important to him as is his friends but he just might of met his match in Keegan .Sent to get rid of Tucker to save her twin sister she finds herself falling for him instead . this book is sexy , fun & at times downright scary . how can one man attract so much trouble but have so many allies to get him out of that trouble when it comes . can't wait to read more from Cree Nations , it will be wild ride if this is anything to go by.
Tucker and Keegan's story is a page turner. Lots of mystery, action and heat. Tucker finds himself being hunted by a beautiful assassin. The reason brings the Stone family closer to closing the human trafficking in Cripple Creek. Lots of action and heat in the story. The Stone family continues to fight.
I thoroughly enjoyed Tucker and Keegan's story. So looking forward to reading the next one.
I loved this storyline. There are a lot of characters in this series and it is sometimes hard to keep track of them. That aside the plot was imaginative and full of drama and lots of twists and turns. I hope we get more books from this series.
