A must read for everyone who seeks to understand this issue and to positively influence others. I certainly will be reflecting on the insights I gained and be conscious of where I need to be more aware and proactive.

Beautifully written with a balance between personal anecdotes and observations with comprehensive research and evidence.

This book is a must read (or listen) for all who want to deliver long term systemic and structural change in an organisation. It not only helps people understand systemic and structural racism, and how it manifests, but gives practical suggestions and ideas how to take action to dismantle them. Once you see and understand the inequalities and the inequity in many organisations’ policies, processes practices they can’t be unseen.

I hope, as a consequence, more people will be mobilised to take action to address them. I am using the learning and doing the work needed, not only in my organisation, but on myself.

Thank you Jenny for writing this book. It is very accessible, rightly challenging and full of practical insights and advice.
