Dinorah Winthrop is a good girl, one who does things right. Her life is all planned out. She will attend Columbia University and make films which will change the world. Or that was true until the night the gunman opened fire on her and her friends.
Dinorah wakes up the next morning in a life she does not recognize. Everyone knows who she is, or think they do. The girl they know though, is a slacker, someone who doesn't have a creative bone in her body. She tries to explain that something is wrong, until she begins to forget her old life.
Dinorah finds people she's certain she knows, but can't remember. Kara, Jonah, Piper, Brett, they're all a part of every life she lives, though in very different roles.
But the truth starts to come back and Dinorah begins to realize the life she woke up in is all an illusion meant to break her. She has no idea who would do such a thing to her, or why. If she can remember the truth, she might be able to fight her way free of the illusions.
But the gunman and the person who hired him are still around. Can Dinorah and her friends figure the mystery out before too many losses strike them down? What is real and what is illusion. Help Dinorah figure it out before it's too late.
