Great as a detailed account but rather naïve in conclusions.

I feel bad giving this book even one star because it dignifies some ridiculous tales and very soft investigation with to much gravitas. This is a bad book because it is sloppy in its research and gives credence to far to many frauds and shams. If we are to take stories of people surviving for years on nothing but communion wafers or spontaneously bleeding then there needs to be evidence - and when you get down on to it all these delusional people either never were or skillfully avoided or circumvented all attempts to investigate their wounds etc.

The credence displayed here leaves me very doubtful about any of Mr. Wilson's other books.
