This is the second book in this series about three women who have just returned from a space mission but their ship was deliberately destroyed on landing and they have managed to escape before the explosion. They were taken to quarantine and found out what had happened to rest of humanity. Most have been vaporised by aliens. They have no idea what they look like. Another alien species has also had it's craft damaged and are stranded until they can repair their ship. They turn into dragon when shifted and their leader has already experience the mating pull and found his mate, but Aron does not think it is possible for him as he has already had a mate and lost her. He is about to find out that Athena who is human is his true mate. He is trying to fight his feelings for her, but Athena is also feeling the pull, and they also have to deal with the aliens vaporising anything living they find. Thank you to Maya Kane for the entertaining review copy. Loved it.
