This is the last book in the series and like the other two that preceded this book, it was a great cozy mystery. Prudence's elderly neighbor is murdered and Prudence was hired as a consultant for the local police. It took awhile before Prudence was able to speak with the spirit of the elderly lady. But since the spirit couldn't remember what happened to her, she was unable to give Prudence any information. Prudence has a romantic interest in Levi, but does Levi feel the same way about Prudence? Does the spirit of the elderly neighbor finally remember what happened to her and is able to identify her killer? Read this book to find out the answers.

I offered a honest review in exchange for a copy of this book.

This is the first book I've read by this author. It's the third in a series, I haven't read the previous 2 but this in no way detracted from the story, there was more than enough background given, but I may have to check out them out! This was a satisfying entertaining cozy mystery, with a little romance and some humour... as well as cats and dogs, each with their own distinct personalities :) As the title of the series plainly states, the main character is middle aged, and she talks to ghosts, in this case to find out who murdered the victim. Several potential perpetrators, and few red herrings led to a satisfying conclusion.

Murder Mayhem and Emeralds!!!!!!!

This book was so much fun!!!!!! It picks right up with Prudence and Alum! You really do want to smack her friends with all of the negative age comments. Constance is an expert in everything!!!!! The twists and turns kept me guessing and I won’t spoil anything with my review. If you loved the other books you are going to be enchanted by this one too!!!!!!!!!

Happy Endings

Action all the way through. Wrap up to a really enjoyable series. I'm rather sad there isn't to be more.
Prudance's neighbor is murdered. A new lucrative career is offered but only if she proves herself with a trial period. And then the side plot...is Levi interested romantically or is he just a friend?

Prudence the clairvoyant medium is back in her final ghost hunter book. Her neighbor is dead and soon she learns it’s murder. These stories would be better if her friends weren’t so over the top. Personally, I’d kick all of them out of my house forever. Still, we’ve got an interesting murder mystery and a hopeful romance with Levi. Add a pet dingo to the mix, and it’s an enjoyable read.

This takes the Ghost Hunter to the next step. It’s hard to talk about this book without giving away then ending of the previous book. Just know that Prudence’s crazy friends are still around, Prudence gets a pet dingo and a new job. Truly an enjoyable book.

Prudence is employed now as a consultant for the police, and she is still unsure of Levi's feelings for her but she waits and waits for him to make a move. Talking to spirits to uncover the mysteries.

Heirloom

Mrs cornford is murdered and Mary her pet dingo escapes and ends up with prudence, when she goes to return her prudence finds her body. Lots of twist and turns, rocks and cats hissing, not to mention solving 3 deaths of which 2 are murders. Last in the series..

Believer or not a fun read.

Just like the previous 2 in the series this is an easy, enjoyable one night read. The characters are very believable and only a woman could write about how annoying best women friends can be. Pity it's the last in the series.

So much has changed for Prudence. She can no longer find work as a clairvoyant medium, due to a recent influx of international mediums to the area. Since it wasn't because of a loss of abilities, she is offered a job with the local police as a consultant providing she can help them solve the murder of her neighbor. A neighbor who was unliked and unfriendly was murdered, and it was discovered by Prudence when she tried to return the woman's runaway dog. She and the cleaning lady go in the house and discover the body. When Prudence is put on the case officially, a still recovering Alum is upset because he is worried she will be put in harms way. He is still healing and can not be counted on to help her or keep her safe, although he does what he can. Frustrated because Alum thinks of her only as a friend and she had hoped for more, Prudence continues to sleuth, trying to be careful.
Glad to say she helps the police and gets hired on as a full time consultant. Financial problems are over, she is settling in with her adopted dog and cats, and even her estranged daughter reaches out to her. If only Alum wanted more than a friend!

Another well paced mystery with several possible suspects. Prudence is becoming quite a good detective with her ghostly advantage! Once again I am left wanting more! I am waiting for the next book to see how her life turns out! If you haven't read the series, start at the beginning and read them in order. You will be glad you did so you can understand exactly what happened in the referred to past. You don't want to miss a thing in this fun mystery series!

I don't do book reviews......

I don't do book reviews like you keep seeing, as I find that some give too much of the plot away and I personally hate that, as it makes the book not worth reading. I much prefer to take the authors back cover write up as a review as it can either intrigue you enough to read the book of provide you enough information to make you decide that the book is not for you.
My review rules are: The more stars, the more I liked it.
If there are too many typos or errors the less stars I give
If the storyline or plot is poor or contains too many errors, the characters are too weak, the ending lacking something, then the less stars I give.
Simple, uncomplicated and to the point without giving anything away.
Some of the books I read have been given to me by the author as a pre-release copy and this does not bias my reviews in any way

This is a great book; this is the third book in the Ghost Cozy Mystery series written by Morgana Best. Prudence is a medium and can no longer make a living doing live shows. She is happy that the local cops have hired her as a consultant. When her elderly neighbor is murdered, she is determined to find out what really happened to him. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. This book will keep you reading long into the night. If you are looking for a great book, then you need to read this book. I am looking forward to reading the next book by this great author. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader’s copy of this book. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Loved this story!

I have been a fan of Morgana Best for sometime but I have to say her "Middle Aged Ghost Whisperer series" is my very favorite. Prudence Wallflower is a fun character & her friends are absolutely obnoxious but she has the patience of a saint with them. Even though this book came to a happy ending, I do hope Ms. Best continues to write about Prudence in her new career an relationship.

A Quick Read

Prudence Wallflower is a medium whose mystery-solving talents along with her abilities land her a new job as a police consultant. She is hired to solve the mystery of a woman who dies suddenly. With the dead woman's spirit and police detective friend assisting, Prudence finds the murderer. This is a quick read with a satisfying conclusion. The third book in the Middle-aged Ghost Whisperer series.

Excellent cozy! Prudence is back, and so are her awful friends, the recovering detective she has fallen for, and a new job and a new murder. Lots of situational humor, and some opportunities to learn some things about living in small town Australia (their road hazards are kangaroos instead of deer). Interesting plot twists and weird developments make this a truly must read!

A happy medium indeed

I really like Prudence. She's a strong woman with a strong sense of self. She certainly isn't a wallflower. Book 3 in the series really moves the changes in her life along. Sure there was a murder to solve, a new job and a new romance but it all flowed in a well told story that did not feel rushed. Looking forward to more.

What's next

Loved this...consciously was out of his coma and dating prudence but she feels as if he only wants her as a friend. The old lady down the street gets murdered and the police want her to work as a consultant. She takes the lady's dog to keep her out of the pound. She talks to her ghost to figure out who murdered her and gets more trouble than she imagined. If course her friends who I'd like to strangle are still there. Hope the series continues.
