Stephanie Willis no longer believed in happily ever after. At least not for herself.Max Vicente was determined to change her mind. After all, some fairy tales really do come true. This 20k word novella is part of the Alluring series but can be read as a standalone. ***Beware*** This is insta-love with an OTT nod to Cinderella. It's meant to be slightly unbelievable but 100% fun. Due to sex and language, it is recommended for persons over 18.
Sarah Curtis is a writer of all things romance. She loves nothing more than a sexy alpha male who falls hard for their heroine, almost always in spite of themselves!
A life-long resident of Southern California, Sarah shares her writing den with her childhood sweetheart and very own alpha male. When she’s not writing or dreaming up plotlines you can find her wrangling her plethora of very spoiled felines—she currently has five, yes you read that correctly, furry companions. Sarah is a reader before anything else, and her TBR mountain is higher than Everest. She’s also addicted to watching cooking competitions, especially involving baking! Of her own admission, she rarely cooks, but she’s up for the occasional birthday cake for her children as long as it involves the opening of a box.

Enchanting is book #3.5 in the Alluring series. I have only read the first book in this series, Alluring, and fell head over heels with it. I’m so glad that I had already met Jack and Alexis because they are secondary characters in this book and it was kind of nice to revisit them. In this book you will meet Alexis’s best friend, Stephanie Willis. This is a Cinderella retelling and Stephanie is about to meet her very own prince charming.
Stephanie has been previously hurt in her relationship and hasn’t allowed herself to get serious since. She doesn’t trust men and won’t allow her heart to be broken like that again. She is a cocktail waitress at the hotel Alexis’s husband, Jack owns. She’s exhausted after work and when her car won’t start, a very, very good looking man comes to her rescue. But, she’s not interested. No matter how good looking he is.
“She watched his actions wondering if he really was the prince he claimed to be or a wolf in prince’s clothing.”
Max Vicente started with nothing and built a successful business for himself. He dated but never seriously. He always hoped he would know when he met the one. And he did. As soon as he saw her sitting in her car, he knew. It didn’t take long for him to find out who she was. He could tell she was wary, that he would need to go slow to gain her trust. But of one thing he was certain. She would be his.
This book was perfect. It was adorable. It was sexy and sweet and made my heart happy. I loved the fairy tale retelling aspect to it. The epilogue was also perfect. These two so deserved their happily ever after. Max had to work for it, but Steph was worth it. I need to go back now and read book two. There’s just something about this series that just gives me all the butterflies and all the warm and fuzzies. I definitely hope you will check it out!
This was a short but sweet little holiday fantasy Cinderella type story. Complete with Prince, OHH so very charming. He was the total package of hunky alpha male with an old school charm not often seen in today's heroes. OMG HE EVEN CALLS HER PRINCESS! He is not so proper that he can't get nasty with his dirty talking! Which was seriously HOT!
"You lit up my world and I would never, ever, do anything to extinguish that glow. Not after waiting a lifetime to finally see the light." The hero Max tell the heroine Steph this, and many other amazing things like "Your last boyfriend was just that, a boy, not a man, and a very foolish boy at that because only a fool would risk losing someone as precious as you." Now, he says some more sweet things but mostly it gets hotter at this point and since I don't want to give this story away, you know what you must do, READ THE BOOK!
Now the only reason why it lost a star is because of the heroine Steph. I did not like way she made the hero jump through hoops because of a past relationship. Yes, I understand she has been hurt before but that's not the hero's fault and he should not be made to suffer because of it. This is unacceptable to me! NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO CASH SOMEONE ELSE CHECK!
That's how I saw it! Also, I am grateful to the author for allowing me the privilege of reading this Incredibly HOT little holiday fantasy. THANK YOU SARAH! xx
Safety is of course perfect without issues whatsoever.
I love a good Cinderella story and have wanted to see Stephanie get her HEA ever since I read Alluring. This novella did not disappoint. I only wish it had been longer. I could've used more of Max Vicente's hotness in my life. I've loved each of Sarah's books that I've read and I am looking forward to more in the future.

This short read hit the spot for me!
Absolutely adorable novella! If you want sweet and sexy with a Cinderella-esque feel, then one click this immediately!
Max fell for Stephenie at first sight. He knew she had a previous bad relationship so he vowed to take his time and not scare her away. Losing her was not an option.
Stephenie was determined to push Max away. Being hurt by someone she trusted in the past didn't leave her very open to new relationships. Max consistently tore down her walls until she finally admitted she felt it too!
~hot sexy alpha hero ~sassy hesitant heroine ~instalove (my personal fave) ~zero cheating ~heroine pushed hero away initially ~no ow/om drama whatsoever ~a couple steamy sex scenes ~Cute epilogue a year out. I will just say this now, I needed more. Adorable as it was, I want to see where they end up, children, life, etc
I really enjoyed Enchanting. Stephanie the heroine surprised me. She was such a fun character in Alluring and I was surprised at how guarded she was with her heart. Max the hero is amazing. Definitely an alpha who is sexy yet still sweet. If you a fan of instant love this is a must read. Highly recommend.
What a sweet, short story! Max is a sigh worthy hero with the way he took control. I loved how he handled Stephanie when she was being stubborn and instead of giving up, he worked around her stubbornness to make her his. This had my two favorite themes, insta love and OTT alpha. Great book!
"Princesa? She wasn't sure what that meant exactly, but it sounded as though it could be Spanish for princess." -No shit dumbass
"Seems I got your name after all, but I think I'll stick with princesa. My beautiful princess." -This was what the H said to the h after their second meeting. Like, ew. I'd be skeeved out if a random dude said that to me.
Enchanting by Sarah Curtis was such a fun sweet treat! Novellas for me are often hit or miss so I wasn’t sure how this one was going to work out for me. I couldn’t have been more thrilled! For such a short story I didn’t feel shortchanged. Of course I would have loved it to have been longer simply because I absolutely adored the heroine Steph. She was a laid back “take me as I am” type of woman and that attitude against Max’s formality just made me happy. While I wouldn’t consider this a retelling of Cinderella, the story has moments that are compared to the fairy-tale. I especially enjoyed this aspect and I applaud Ms. Curtis for tweaking her lost slipper scene to fit her feisty heroine. Loved it! For such a small package Enchanting packed a lot of heat, plenty of smiles, laughs and giggles as well as an abundance of heart.
I thought that I'd give this author another try only to be reminded of why her work isn't really for me. The novella length also magnified the reasons. The characters and plot needed more development (even for a short length work) and the the instalove is sort of boring. The only reasons this received one star was because there was no OP drama.
2.5 stars Didn't read it all but checked the end. Sorry but it wasn't for me (?)
Just a little detail, to make it perfect it should have been: Te quiero con todo MI corazón or at least Te quiero con todo EL corazón.
I didn't like Stephanie. For example, first she says she doesn't believe in the fairytale anymore and then she doesn't want to be someone's second best. That doesn't add up to me.
I was stunned when Max was in Prince Charming mode and suddenly dropped a couple of fucks. Don't get me wrong, I'm more than comfortable with that term BUT he was on Prince Charming mode! He should have saved those for caveman/in-the-throes-of-passion mode. For the rest I loved him.
Oh and thanks to my mom I didn't like Max's last name (mom and aunt Olga say to us females in the family to chose carefully who you date because he can be your baby's daddy so his family name matters, so the guys with family names that are way too common, ugly or that are actually given names are forbidden to us).
Sarah Curtis had done it again, and this times she's given us a novella with the perfect mixture of OTT sweet romance and a swoon-worthy alpha who will go to the ends of the Earth to win the heroine's heart.
If you're looking for a lovely short read, Enchanting is the story for you. Highly recommend it!
This was a no brainer one click...I didn't need to read a synopsis or know what I was getting before I bought it.. because I know it's gonna be a safe read filled with yummy alpha goodness with the bonus of a pretty awesome h. I loved this short fairytale. Who says love needs to take years in the making. Max and steph were freaking awesome. I mean the man speaks Italian!!! Can we swoon now because he is totally worth it! Steph is a little slow to get on board but it doesn't take much for to see that Max is worth the risk! There was so much to love about this story and I gonna say...I just wanted more! I loved these words and you should too.
4 stars. This is a cute Cinderella-themed novella! It features Stephanie, Alexis's best friend from Alluring, and Max, who is doing business with Jack, Alexis's husband. Stephanie is a cocktail waitress struggling to make ends meet. Max is a rich guy that is totally intrigued by Stephanie and gives her the fairytale treatment. Stephanie was reluctant at first, but Max is convincing. They were super hot together and sweet too. I enjoyed catching up with Alexis and Jack too. A great addition to this fun series!
Blurb: Stephine Willis no longer believed in happily ever after. At least not for herself. Max Vicente was determined to change her mind. After all, some fairy tales really do come true.

There is something about Sarah Curtis’ insta-love stories that I can’t seem to get enough of and Enchanted is no different. This re-telling of the modern Cinderella story between Stephanie and Max is sweet but hot at the same time. From the very first moment when Max helped Stephanie with car troubles one night, he could not get her out of his mind, even before knowing her name. Once they meet again, with the help of their mutual friends, Alexis and Jack, Max’s pursuit of Stephanie was on. Max was so sweet with Stephanie, I loved his protective instinct towards her. He was a bit on the bossy side at times, especially when it came to her well-being, but he also knew that she was skittish with relationships so he knew he had to go slowly with her, even if it killed him. But Max was determined to tear down those walls, and he did it worthy of an OTT alpha male. Once Stephanie was able to let go of past hurts, she too realized what a great guy Max was. I absolutely loved their story. It was a novella, but still full of sweetness and sexy scenes. And I absolutely loved that epilogue.
I love Sarah's Curtis books. To be honest with you her books are the only books i can read even though are written in third person. I avoid them but since i read her best in my opinion Alluring the first of the Alluring series i was hooked! So my point is......her books are perfect just the way she writes them and so is this one. It's a novella, insta love, no angst, sexy scenes and with happy ever after!!!!! Can you ask for more????? The answer is NO!!! Aaaa! I forgot to mention that through her site it's free... so thank you Mrs Curtis!!!!♥♥♥♥♥
This was another great book from this author. I liked the characters and their chemistry. I liked that the other characters from the previous book was included in this book. I hope there is another book from this series
Really enjoyed this one! This was a very quick, sexy and sweet insta love romance. I especially liked this story because the h was not a virgin. She was going through a dry spell but before that had a healthy, normal sex life. There is no om/ow drama at all!
