If you look at my faves shelf, you will notice that I usually put only one book in a series up and say I love the whole series to save time because I'm lazy. However, each book in this series has a special place in my heart, and so deserves a special place on my shelf. These books are amazing. I knew I wanted to be an author before I read this series, but these books are what made me take it seriously. I connect with all the characters, and the books have a tiny bit of reality with the perfect amount of fantasy. This book, Full Circle, was an exciting and unexpected conclusion to a truly magnificent series. I just....I can't even express how much I love these books.

So as you know, Emily became the dark mage, temporarily. The first thing I remember from reading this book twenty years ago was “Wow, that was quick” Emily isn’t the dark mage for long, about twenty pages and that’s it. Avalon was once the home of all magic, it was once a beautiful city with nothing but good pure magic. Now thanks to dark mages and their predecessors, Avalon is a devastated wasteland that teems with dark polluted magic. I really like Emily’s new bonded in this book, Buttercup. He was a shadow creature and Emily healed him, apparently he’s a Aboleth, apparently all the shadow creatures are Aboleths. It’s hard to describe them, they kind of look like a deformed dog, porcupine, and rat based on the pictures. It’s definitely one of the odder magical creatures in this series. I really liked the ending, it’s the kind you don’t expect. Avalon is no longer the home of all magic, it’s Ravenswood. So things worked out great. Not entirely sure what happened to the dark sorceress, I’m not sure if she’s still in Avalon or if she was destroyed or if she was banished to the other worlds. I’m glad Emily didn’t actually kill Ozzie, he’s the one reason the prophecy didn’t play out as expected. Emily didn’t kill him, she broke the spell the fairimentals put on Ozzie that made him a ferret. He turned up in Aldenmore as an elf, his true form. I actually wish the author would do a second series to this one, the mages would be level three and you’d obviously have to introduce a new villain. My only complaint about this series is that the books aren’t long enough. I think that with enough time and effort, Rachel Roberts could have easily made each book three hundred pages or more with enough detail and background information. She could’ve gone deeper into magic and jewels, magical animals, the magical worlds that the animals live on. The possibilities are endless. Great series, and a wonderful ending. I loved every book of this series. It’s a wonderful magical read that I’d recommend to all ages.

Now that I've finished my reread of a childhood favorite I can say that it does stand up to the test of time but not aging.

The story- three preteen girls gain magic and magical animal friends and go on an adventure to save the home of Magic. It's cute and creative, filled with lots of pretty imagery and themes like friendship, believing in yourself and trying your best.

Where this story falls flat is mostly in dialog which is humorous for a child with it's zingy one liners but the humor falls flat for adults and more serious kids I'd think.

I'm totally okay with this being a story with a target audience that hits the bullseye rather than a story that impresses generations. Toss book is no longer relevant to me but I still appreciate what it meant for me as a kid.

The girls failed to enter Avalon, with one of them becoming forever intertwined with dark magic - but in the midst of their sorrows, they choose to defy all prophecies and fight the Dark Sorceress, even if it means trusting their enemies...and making the greatest sacrifices. Roberts brings her imaginative adventure to a wondrous close, thrilling and heartfelt start to finish; a memorable finale sure to stay with fans for years to come. With so much set against them, can the Healer, Warrior and Blazing Star conquer their mistakes and finally bring peace to all realms - or is all life destined for eternal darkness?

An age-appropriate ending to the series, as it is a HEA due to the ~power of friendship~, but that’s obviously what you want from this series. As this seemed to be Roberts’ first and only series she wrote, you can easily see her grow as a writer from book one until now, especially if you read through the series as quickly as I did. It’s a shame she stopped writing because I would love to see more of this unique world, or another magical world she’d create. This series will always hold the dearest place in my heart, and it was fun to be reminded of all the magic it brought me as a kid.

I’m actually really disappointed that the series is over! I liked reading about these dorks. I liked that the titles actually went full circle: the first was was Circles in the Stream. Mostly the book was pretty boring, but there was a lot of power of friendship and cool magic, etc etc etc. Yay! Writing was much better than the other books.

Full Circle is the twelfth book and final book of the Avalon Web of Magic series. In the series, three mages set out to find the power crystals and open the gates of Avalon.

It started with a quest to save Avalon. It might end in disaster. The mages, Emily, Adriane, and Kara, have managed to collect all the power crystals, but the magic web is completly off balance and doomed to destruction unless they act fast. But with time running out, they become doubtful and hesitant. But with the power of them combined, they might find a way to save Avalon. Will they be able to sacrifice everything they love to save Avalon?

I like this book because it was suspensful and interesting is a way that is different from most other mystery books. I also thought this book was emotional and sad. It almost made me cry. I really thought this book was good, but it was a bit confusing. It would say one thing, then say another thing, then it would become confusing. Still, this book is one of those books that changes you, even in the smallest way.

The Avalon: Web of Magic series is about three mages and their quest to find Avalon and to save the magic web. There's Emily the healer, Adriane the warrior, and Kara the blazing star. The books are full of magic, adventure, friendship, and a little bit of romance. I loved these books when I read them a few years ago, so I wanted to reread them. Unfortunately, I didn't love them as much as I did the first time. I'd recommend this series for younger readers and newcomers to fantasy. I gave this series a 4 out of 5 stars and a 7/10.

Dude, these last 2 books took a turn for the worse, I want more of the old Avalon style, I want that back. But also, I have I have high standards for books. If it is going to be number one on my all time favorites, it needs at least one character death, one kiss and one crazy turn of events. I did not like it.

This book had me crying. The final installment of The Web of Magic series, had me elated yet sad all at once. Since the series i grew up ready when I was only 9 years old had come to a close. The ending was perfect. In a sense it makes me wish for more. I had put off buying and reading this book for years. But I am glad I got the closure from this book.

Nice wrap up to a series I started in seventh grade. I enjoyed finally finishing what was started in Circles in the Stream. The characters were able to grow and learn from experiences while still having fun.

I loved it but it made me sad at the end. I mean, I get to follow three girls through a quest, but then it's over?

I read these when I was younger but I would still read them now. They have enough magic in them to entertain anybody.

I loved this book. The way each girl loses control in Avalon, and then returns to herself, it is just inspirational. This seems like a true representation of strength and friendship.

This wasn't my favorite book in the series, but it was the end of a series that I loved, and started when I was around 12 (and I am now 21). I am sad for it to end. I will forever love this series.
