Attainment (between two realms #3) by Amber Flora a great four-star read. This is the third book in the Between two realms series and the other two are Awaken (#1) and Assent (#2). It can be read as a stand-alone, but if you read the other two first you will get more out of it, you get the background to the story. This book sucks you into a world of magic, fantasy and romance, you fall in love with the people and enjoying watching are learning who they can trust, and who you can’t. You get dragged along as they journey between worlds and we watch as the characters try to gain and maintain control. This book continues from the last books and tells us the story of Ashtyn Lane.
Ashtyn is trying to gain control of the powers she must learn to use and understand, she also has to learn to trust herself and also how to know who to trust she knows she hasn’t seen the last of her abductor Damon, she may have defeated him once but he is still out there and when he does return she didn’t realise the problems that would come down with him upon his return.
Ashtyn also needs to realise who she can trust as she must form an alliance, she knows she won’t be able to manage on her own. With secrets that have been revealed to her causing more problems, will she ever be able to get her head straight. Will she ever be able to make the right choice? As every time she seems to get one step forward, something or someone knocks her back.
This is a great story and will keep you on the edge of your seat. If you want to lose yourself in a fantasy world for a little while, then get this book, you won’t be disappointed.

Attainment is the third, very exciting book in the Between Two Realms series- by Amber Flora. This instalment continues the story from where the last book finished off. As with the previous two books, this story has plenty of action, adventure, magic, suspense, mystery, drama and romance. It really is quite special, from its conception to being a fully realised book, Ms. Flora transports us into the unique and strangely wonderful world she lovingly created- a place where we find Dream Walkers, Wizards and Vampires- and get to go on a quest with the characters, which allows us to explore all the different Realms. There is so much packed into this book, with quite a few surprises that I really didn’t see coming. Ms. Flora has orchestrated the various elements of the plot so skilfully and precisely, and has blended them into a polished, exciting and captivating read.
This book is part of a series and as such, I really recommend that it be read along with the other books, and in the correct sequence. The story flows from one book to the next, and while you could read it as a standalone if you wish, there is so much of the storyline, backstory and character information that you would be missing out on if you did. The story becomes that much more enjoyable, having read the other books first!
This instalment has Ashtyn Lane coming to terms with everything that happened with Damon and the aftermath of her experiences in book two. Ashtyn’s recent discovery of her magical abilities, and the fact that she is half Dream walker and half Wizard, has been a lot to process. She is still adjusting to her magical powers and how best to control them.
She is very aware that Damon isn’t finished with his diabolical plans and she has been fortifying herself and preparing for his return. She is also trying to decipher the memories left by her mother and why it was so important for her to pass them on to Ashtyn. All the while, she’s also analysing her feelings about Mac and Herrick. Her friends also have to adjust to the fact that Ashtyn now has powers, and the changes that has meant.
When Damon re-enters the picture, the friends are shocked by the danger and horrifying devastation he brings. They must band together, as well as making new alliances- if they are to defeat Damon and re-unite the realms. Will they be able to defeat Damon? At what cost? Will Ashtyn find out what the purposes of her mother’s memories were? Can she and her friends re-unite Avonya? Who will Ashtyn choose- Mac or Herrick? Will she finally discover where she truly belongs?
After the last book finished, I had been chafing-at-the-bit to get my hands on this book- so I could find out what happens.
This book answered a lot of my questions and I was beginning to think I would be happy and satisfied by the ending of this story- but WHAM- Now I have another dozen questions and I don’t know when or if they will ever be answered. I really, really need another book, now please Ms. Flora!
The characters have really grown and evolved so much over the series. They really are a fantastic cast- and are a credit to Ms. Flora’s creative talents.
I think the tension and suspense in this story has exceeded the previous ones, as most of the book was spent on the edge of my seat, trying to read as fast as I could- just to find out what would happen next.
This story is fast paced and flows really well. I finished it in a day.
I can’t wait to see what Ms. Flora has in store for us next!

Attainment (Between Two Realms, Book 3) by Amber Flora is the third book in the Between Two Realms series. This story can be read as a stand alone but reading the previous two story will help with the back ground. This story is full of magic, fantasy and of course romance. You will love how the author has created characters that just pop off the page. You will also enjoy how she has them connect to each other, it really makes the story flow together. This story has many twists and turns and will have you sitting on the edge of your seat just waiting to see what will happen next. This is the third installment in the Between Two Realms series and is another fantastic 5 stars read, full of emotion, action and full on page turning anticipation. I highly recommend you read the previous two books to truly appreciate the flow of the storyline that Amber has created flawlessly.
Once again Attainment is fully packed with the supernatural, vampires, wizards, dreamwalkers and much much more.
Ashtyn struggles with the life of being half wizard and half dreamwalker and learning the tools of her magic traits, but also struggles with the battle of her heart between the two people she needs most in her life, but she needs to decide how she wants Mac and Herrick in her life. Can she learn to control her powers? Can she discover the secrets of her mother's memories, and the so called prophecy of a wonder child. Can she achieve the impossible and get everyone working together with the helps of the different paranormal races to come together as one community and fight against the common enemy Damon who's still lurking in the shadows.
Will fate and destiny win? Can Mac and Herrick co exist and work together for Ashtyn sake?
Amber definitely takes you on a rollercoaster ride with your emotions, pulls at your heartstrings, the characters are so well developed over the series and you can see how they have grown into amazing people.

I feel like you should read the books from earlier in the series in order to fully understand and know the background before reading this book. Attainment is jam-packed full of adventure, romance and all of the supernatural elements, you will find dreamwalkers, vampires, wizards, and other supernatural beings in this series. I love a good fantasy story and Attainment provides it all.
Ashtyn Lane is new to this magic thing. She is half wizard and half dreamwalker. Ashtyn still learning how to control her powers and she is trying to find the balance of having a predetermined fate and wanting to follow her own path.
“Fate and destiny are bound together. Destiny can be formed, controlled, but not feet. No matter how many times you alter your destiny the path will always lead you to your predetermined end.”
Ashtyn is also trying to navigate through her love life. She's trying to figure out who she really wants versus who she really needs. Mac and Herrick help her on her journey to find answers from a distant relative. Will they be willing to tolerate each other in order to complete the task at hand? Or will they tear each other apart before finishing their quest?
I really love the series! I love the way Flora wrote the story and how she incorporated multiple supernatural elements all a one story. Amber Flora definitely deserves a follow. I will be giving Attainment five stars for being original and fun to read.

The story Attainment (Between Two Realms Book 3) by Amber Flora is a romantic fantasy book. The third book in the Two Realm series finds Ashtyn back at the farm that she loves while missing the one who helped her escape her abductor, Damon. Then just as quickly as he disappeared Herrick is back to help Ashtyn find a part of her past. This begins a journey that will ultimately lead to new revelations. Evil forces seem to be at work around every corner and you wonder if Ashtyn and everyone she cares about will survive.
This book has Ashtyn forging new alliances and discovering a lot about her past. While her mother left clues behind, it is up to Ashtyn to put them together if is she is to save herself and her friends. Ashtyn is such a head-strong person who doesn’t take no for an answer. She is the first one to jump into a situation feet first and ask questions later. She also has her feelings for Herrick that are invading her thoughts. She doesn’t believe that he feels anything for her while she has completely fallen for him. Ashtyn is loyal to her friends and they are also loyal to her in return. When one of them is kidnapped everyone jumps into action to find her and bring her home. Ashtyn also is learning more about the different powers and abilities that she has. Her friends are constantly teasing her about not destroying things. I also love the character of Herrick. He is a mysterious man who has no emotions however in some conversations he has with Ashtyn and also by his actions you believe that there is more to this man than everyone knows.
I love book series as in each one you are updated on the lives of each character. It is like dropping in on old friends for the afternoon to catch up on their lives. There are also new characters that you meet, some are helpful while others are only out for themselves. This book will have you mesmerized and quickly turning pages to find out what happens next. I finished it in one afternoon. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves fantasy books.

Attainment by Amber Flora was an awesome extension.
This book continues our story of Ashtyn and her gang of misfits. This book continues where the last ended and we continue to learn more and more of dreamwalkers and the various realms. There are some twists and turns but for the most part a fairly easy read. I thoroughly enjoyed being pulled back into the world that has been made for us and really enjoyed the action that was brought forth. There is definitely room for another book as this one leaves us hanging and wanting for more. We learn that although our mind tells us one thing our hearts lead us on the right path. We must always follow our hearts and know that even if our fate is not our own we can still write the path to the end of the journey. Ashtyn struggles with her heart and she continues to be the stubborn, strong woman that we fell in love with. She acts like a confused teenager but she is wise beyond her years. She meets some new players along the way who help guide her where she needs to be and without them she may not have ended up where she did. We learn more about her powers and the origin of everybody around her. I highly recommend this series for anyone looking to expand their fantasy and sci-fi love. This was a great read.

I give Attainment (Between Two Realms book 3) by Amber Flora 5 stars.

Ashtyn Lane has gone through so much lately. Finding out she’s not human, people believing she is the Chosen one, getting kidnapped by a crazy monster who believes she can give him a child who could rule the world, losing more of the little family she had left. But out of this she has developed her own family, people who love and care for her and would do anything for her. As good as this is, she has her own troubles. She defeated Damon, but didn’t kill him. He’ll be back and this time he will want her dead. She is training and getting ready for another battle, but she is constantly looking over her shoulder, waiting for Damon to reappear.
And to make matters worse, there are two men in her life she loves dearly but can’t choose between. Mac, the dependable one who loves her dearly and would be her rock. Although he can be a little too protective at times. Then there’s Herrick. He helped her escape from Damon, but his race is known to not have emotions. She feels pulled to him even though she knows it’s useless. Will she ever be able to find happiness other couples have?
If that isn’t enough, bad things are happening again. Women are disappearing. Is this the work of Damon or some other evil force? And can Ashtyn and her friends get the girls back safely? If so, at what cost? Everything Ashtyn decides, she seems to lose those close to her.
I absolutely love this series. It pulls me in right away. The story is terrific and the characters! I feel like they are my friends and enemies. Ashtyn is developing into a wonderful main character, but the other characters have also developed too. I have no idea if this series will continue, but I REALLY hope it does. I want to read more and more of this world and the characters. If you like supernatural with action and some romance, you will love this series.

She defeated Damon, but didn’t kill him. He’ll be back and this time he will want her dead. She is training and getting ready for another battle, but she is constantly looking over her shoulder, waiting for Damon to reappear.
And to make matters worse, there are two men in her life she loves dearly but can’t choose between. Mac, the dependable one who loves her dearly and would be her rock. Although he can be a little too protective at times. Then there’s Herrick. He helped her escape from Damon, but his race is known to not have emotions. She feels pulled to him even though she knows it’s useless. Will she ever be able to find happiness other couples have?
If that isn’t enough, bad things are happening again. Women are disappearing. Is this the work of Damon or some other evil force? And can Ashtyn and her friends get the girls back safely? If so, at what cost? Everything Ashtyn decides, she seems to lose those close to her.
I absolutely love this series. It pulls me in right away. The story is terrific and the characters! I feel like they are my friends and enemies. Ashtyn is developing into a wonderful main character, but the other characters have also developed too. I have no idea if this series will continue, but I REALLY hope it does. I want to read more and more of this world and the characters. If you like supernatural with action and some romance, you will love this series.

Attainment book 3 in the between two realms series by Amber Flora is a 5 star read. Ashtyn is back home on her uncle's farm celebrating her birthday but she knows this is just the calm before the storm,she knows that Damon is still out there and that one way or another she has to destroy him. Ashtyn can't get Herrick out of her mind,it's been 3 months since he disappeared and she's been left wondering if he's ever going to come back so when he shows in the early hours of the morning after her birthday bringing news that could help her in the upcoming war with Damon she just jumps right in heads towards danger as always. While Cody is busy looking into the disappearance of some women she has Mac along with Herrick by her side which is difficult as she loves both men but knows one of them will get hurt by her. When Herrick gets stabbed and lies unconscious Ashtyn finally realises where her heart truly lies. With a huge battle lying ahead of them the dream walkers and the wizards have to work together to find the right outcome for all of them but when someone turns traitor will the fight be over before it has begun? This was a great ending (or was it?) to the series and like the first two books it was a definite page turner,I loved the characters in the books each one was strong on their own but together they made the book absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend this series.

This is book three in Amber Flora’s Between Two Realms series. It picks up a few months after book two ended.
Ashyton is waiting for Damon to come after her and her friends again. Ashyton best friend Lori throws her a surprise birthday party. She has finally learned how to use her powers but has yet to control them. All she wants for her birthday is the have the man she cannot stop thinking or dreaming about. When Herrick shows up she is thrilled, and when he tells her that he may have found one of her family members she cannot wait to tell her friends and go find this family member. Herrick and Mac go with Ashyton the Vampire Realm to see Ruby so she can get a message to her family member. In exchange for Ruby’s help, she has conditions, and when Ruby pins the two men Ashyton love against each other she is ready to burn the place down. Mac feels guilty for what he had to do to win the fight, but he would do it again if he had to.
Cody and Ben are trying to find out where and why women are disappearing in all the realms. When they find out the girls are “impure” like Ashton. Ashton has a good idea who is taking the girls and why they are being taken. When Asyton’s friend and the girl Cody loves is taken, Cody vows to find her and kill who ever has taken her. Frist they need to find a way to find where their friend is being held and then they need to find an army to fight and save her and the other girls.
I gave this book five stars. Attainment kept me on the edge of my seat through the whole book. As Ashyton is learning to control her powers, she is also waiting for Damon to come back for her. She has so many feelings going on for two different guys, and she wants to keep her friends save. This book is a paranormal romance. I love that Amber Flora connects wizards, dream walker, vampires, vibrant, and healers, to each other as friends, bloodlines, or lovers. I cannot wait to read the next book.

Attainment is the third book in the Between the Realms by Amber Flora, and this series just keeps getting better and better! She has taken this series above and beyond places I thought possible. Everytime I think I have it figured out, she takes it to a whole another level. I would definitely recommend reading the first two books in the series before starting this book. An amazing 5 stars!

Attainment (Between Two Realms) by Amber Flora is the third installment in the series of Between Two Worlds.
This book is a five star read. You do however need to read the first two books in order to understand what is happening. It cannot be read as a standalone. This book was full of different emotions with many twists and turns in the book that will keep you guessing what is going to happen till the very end. I read the first two books and they were so gripping that I just had to read this one straight after.
Over the series you will come to love the characters like family and grow with them as they go through their fantastical world. The storyline is superb and flows extremely well. All of them are such strong characters that they could have a book dedicated to each of them or as a whole.
I laughed, cried and felt everything with these characters that just seem to pull you into the storyline so that you can grow with them. This is my third book that I have read by Amber Flora and I fully intend to read every book out by them. I feel that this has been one amazing series and I cannot wait to find out if there is another one to follow this book. I could read these books again and again.

Attainment (Between Two Realms Book 3) by Amber Flora 4 stars
I have begun each of my reviews of this series by quoting the first line/lines of the first paragraph in the story. This review will be no exception as I feel it sets the tone to the whole story.
“Fate and destiny are bound together. Destiny can be formed, controlled, but not fate. No matter how many times you alter your destiny, the path will always lead you to your predetermined end”.
Ashtyn Lane has had some grand adventures in the first two Between Two Realms books and the adventure continues here.
This is the story of breaking down and rebuilding. In order for a foundation to be repaired, the imperfection must be found, excavated and built back up again. That’s what is going on in the realms. As fate and destiny are bound, so shall life go on.
As I’ve read each installment, there were times when I thought… Oh this is my favorite adventure of the Realms and then something else happens. Amber Flora has a gift with writing in a way that allows the reader to envision what is happening to her characters. My heart strings were tugged at parts “I needed you to live, to be happy and write your own destiny”. At times I was angry, and at times I was questioning what the heck was going on. Through it all, though, I was able to enjoy every word I read.
While book three may be the last installment, there is an opening to future books about the realms and while I’m glad I got the closure I needed in this series, I will be sure and keep an eye out for future installments.

Ashtyn, Herrick, Mac, Cody, Ben and her father, Alton and his army, set off to Siberia to find Katrina and destroy Damon.
The whole book is fantastically written. There are witches, vampires, spells and special powers described in such detail they come to life on the page. The story flows magically from the first page till the last with a bunch of twists and turns thrown in. Once I started reading I couldn't put the book down. This is the first book I have read by Amber Flora but definitely won't be the last.

“Fate and destiny are bound together...”
This book picks up from the book two in the series, Ascendant. I would recommend that the books are read in order. I feel one would be completely lost if they don’t read the other books that have actually led to the culmination that this book brings to the series. Ashtyn knows that she can travel between realms, the human world realm and the dream walker realm. She has to for her safety stay in the human world for now and it is an adjustment. That isn’t the only she is dealing with, she is trying to hone her new powers and keep them in check so she doesn’t hurt the ones she loves. Cody her first protector is fearful of the amount of power that she possesses and often plays the ‘devil’s advocate’ so to speak. Mac and Herrick are confident that her powers will only be an asset to her in the future. Then there is Damon, the demon that has already caused so much damage to her, he is not done and she knows he will return with a vengeance for her as well as her friends and family. While she prepares for his return she also battles with the memories that her mother has left her and trying to make sense of them. They find Damon’s mother, Mala, looking for answers as to how to stop him. Cody pleads with her to help them. “Here’s your chance. You may not have been able to stop him then but you can now. At this very moment, he is holding a dear friend of mine captive along with countless other women, all in an attempt to create a super race.” Mala warns that they must stop him and kill him to do so. “No child of his can be allowed to live. If you think he’s evil, anything he creates will far exceed him.” They work together to save all that is dear to them. As much as there is excitement and suspense with this novel, there is also a romantic twist. Both Mac and Herrick want more than just to be friends and protectors to Ashtyn, but how will she pick? “It’s not until we have seen someone’s darkness that we truly see who they are. I have seen the darkness inside of you, lass, and I still believe you to be the purest of hearts.” -Mac “I’ve got you, hummingbird. I won’t let you fall. I am yours and you are mine.” -Herrick
Just when you think you have all the answers, and a happily ever after there is that one last twist at the end! Attainment, by author Amber Flora, is the third book in the Between Two Realms series. The twists and turns continue in this third installment of the series, adding more to the story line we've already read and adding additional intrigue in the continuing saga that is Ashtyn's story and life. Told from multiple points of view, we gain more insight from different angles.
Ashtyn has grown through so much in the first two books of the series and that doesn't stop in the third book, Attainment. So much has transpired and changed her, making her stronger than she or even others may think she is. I have loved reading the development of this character through each of the books in this series and I felt that in this book she truly began to really come into herself and her true potential despite obstacles that have appeared.
This series has been truly creative and out of this realm with characters that are fully developed and complex. Not one of them could be described as being simple. This series is a must read. It is one that will leave you thinking about it, even as you set the book(s) aside and step away. One of the best fantasy/paranormal series that I have read.
