Librarian Note: There is more than one author in the GoodReads database with this name. See this thread for more information.

Armed with books in the crook of my elbow, I can go anywhere. That’s my philosophy! Better yet, I’ll write the books that will take me on an adventure.

My heroes are a bit broken but will make you swoon. My heroines are their own kick-ass characters armed with humor and a plethora of sarcasm.

If I’m not tucked away in my writing den, with coffee firmly gripped in hand, you can find me with a book propped on my pillow, a pit bull lying across my legs, a Lab on the floor next to me, and two kittens running amuck.

My current adventure has me living in Idaho with my own gray-bearded hero, who’s put up with my shenanigans for over thirty years, and he doesn’t mind all my book boyfriends.
If you love romance, suspense, military men, lots of action and adventure infused with emotion, tear-worthy moments, and laugh-out-loud humor, dive into my books and let the world fall away at your feet.
I love to hear from readers.

August has always been sexy and self assured. One thing he wasn't good at doing, was giving up control. Control over his love life, work life, and personal life was the only thing that got August through. All that was thrown out the window when Nash walked into his life and shattered his perfectly controlled world. The passion and love between those two characters really heat up in this second installment. This August is nothing like his former self. He's given up his business, his fancy lifestyle, and his secrets. Him and Nash only grow closer and their love scenes will melt a page! August thinks their new lives are going great. He has the woman he loves, their family, and a new reason to live. But when a new secret is brought to his attention, it threatens everything August has worked so hard to build. Kelly Moore knows how to write a book full of love and passion, but also full of suspense and action. This August is nothing like the last and will NOT leave you disappointed.

Great read filled with action, comedy, and romance. The second book of Kelly Moore's August series couldn't be better. August and Nashville still have amazing chemistry for each other and so much love for their growing, accepting family. For a man that could have anything and everything in the world, he definitely settled for the best. He learned to accept his growing feelings for Nash and her family and want nothing but their happiness. The changes he willingly made, only made Nash love him more. With some unexpected surprises, and twists and turns, they got their happily ever after for the most part. The only thing they lost closest to them was Sam, a man that August has always been there for. I can't wait to read Sam's book coming out soon!

You should read Next August before reading this book. Otherwise it will be confusing and you will probably not understand everything that is happening. I loved this book more that the last book! August and Nash have such a wonderful relationship and so much love. Their chemistry is so sizzling. August and Nash get married and have a little girl named Sara after August’s mother. August is working on a chip to make tractors drive by themselves to help out the farmers around his town in Tennessee. Sam, who is August’s best friend and like a brother, wants to help with the business. He puts together a plan to sell the chip internationally. Sam brings his friend TJ with him and TJ helps out with the business too. August starts getting messages from someone who wants to cause harm to him and his family. At first he thinks it is leftover from his past, but soon finds out it is for real.

This book was exciting. It has suspense, love, laughter and family. I love Nash’s best friend Anna. Anna and August have a relationship where they try to drive each other crazy, but really like each other. They make me laugh. I just love Sam. He has come so far physically and matured. I am hoping there is going to be a book about him next! I think everyone would love to have a relationship like August and Nash have. I really like how August chilled out from his uptown, business stance to a jean wearing cowboy. He is so loving and takes care of the people he loves. He is such a good person. This is a great book that I strongly encourage you to read. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

Firstly I love the cover of This August (Book 2) of the series (Next August) - this is not a standalone you definitely need to read Next August - they are a package deal and you will not be disappointed.

I Loved Next August where we first meet August and Nash with Sam & Anna their friends, they had many hurdles to overcome. With This August well it is their love story continued but with one last mystery from his dad to overcome.

We get POV from both characters which I love especially with so much happening.

I did find the first half was very fast paced, there were large moments of time jumped and it is more my problem as a reader as I really wanted to know every detail of their lives. The second half of the book just explodes, loved the honeymoon and when the mystery bad guy is revealed and August has to rescue Nash well I was glued to the pages. Nash's mum and dad are a large part of this story along with Sam of course. Now Sam is one character I adore and to see him stepping up was a pleasure to see.

August is still the domineering lover and there is plenty of enjoyable romantic and passionate scenes for the reader to enjoy. It was also wonderful to have Anna back in their lives even after they are married.

I cannot wait for Sam's story, I think it will be one highly emotional story considering what he has gone through in his short life, it is going to be a special woman to break down his barriers.

Talk about a nail biter! I mean, it was easy to figure out The who and the why, but the when and how has you on the edge of your seat!
There's more mystery and intrigue as August tires to figure out who has it out for his family. It all culminates in one crazy scene!! 5 stars!

Sweet, sexy, romantic, funny and suspenseful, THIS AUGUST picks up right after NEXT AUGUST. August and Nash are blissfully happy starting a family and their lives together, but an unknown foe has it out for August and jeopardizes their happiness.

I loved seeing the domesticated (and whipped) side of August, he has come such a long way since the first book. His life has done a 180 and he wouldn't have it any other way. Oh, and Bacon was funny and brilliant addition to the crew!

I'm impatiently waiting for my man, Sam's story coming soon! He's one of my favorite characters and after the heartbreaking conclusion to THIS AUGUST, he deserves a happy ending. I'm thrilled that Sam followed August's sex advice about waiting until he finds the right woman...and I can't wait to meet her!

Thank you, Kelly for the ARC, I appreciate your generosity!

I am a big fan of Kelly Moore. I can't say enough great things about This August which is a continuation of Next August. Nash and August are pregnant and their daughter is due very soon. They are getting married and all the secrets they hid are out. August has always needed work and control, but gave up his business and his ways for Nash. They have amazing chemistry, their love is deep and their sex lives are scorchin. Just as things seem so good, August gets emails that alert him to a part of his past he didn't know existed. I was moved at the love August shows for those he loves. This story is well written for sure, but Kelly's ability to make her characters seem so real and genuine is unique to only very good authors. This story has lots of "feels", which made reading an emotional roller coaster but I would ride again and again. This story is full of love, mystery, suspense and humour. I look forward to the next. I highly recommend and I also recommend you read Next August. 10 huge stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

August Rylan has settled down with his wife Nash. Once he was a big name is the business world, but now he's satisfied with running a feed store. August has more money than he could ever spend, so he's happy to fill his days with things that matter to him. When their daughter Sara is born August and Nash are finally in a peaceful place. This is until August receives an email from someone claiming to be his long lost brother. August is done paying for the sins of his father and he thinks that it's just a sick prank. What will August do when the threats keep coming and are getting more serious every time?

Nash dreamed of having a family together with August. She's planning to have many more beautiful kids. She's learning to adjust to the life of being a fulltime mom. Nash is a nurse and she'd love to take on a few shifts every now and then. She misses the adrenaline that comes with the job and she loves helping people. Nash almost paid with her life when August's secrets were revealed. Will she be able to escape them once again?

August is a proud man. He paid the dues for his father's wrongdoings and is ready to leave all those secrets behind. August fiercely loves Nash. He would do anything to keep her and his daughter safe. August has one best friend, Sam. Sam was once bound to a wheelchair, but with August's help he's walking again. August doesn't care about money and he loves spending it on his family. It warmed my heart to read about how strongly he loves them. He has a funny way of showing
this sometimes, but he's doing everything with the best intentions. August is a person you'd want to have in your corner, because he'll never leave you once he considers you a part of his family.

Nash is very capable of handling August. He has the tendency to try and overrule her, but she stands her ground every time. She's not a pushover and I loved that about her. Nash is also a skilled nurse and I liked to read about this part of her life. Kelly Moore is a nurse as well and the details in her story show that she has extensive knowledge about this subject. Nash is a loving daughter and a great mom. She takes good care of the people around her. Nash is someone who is impossible not to love.

This August is the second book in the Next August series and continues with August and Nash's story. I fell in love with both of them in the first book, Next August, and I was excited to read about the next chapter of their journey together. August and Nash connect on a deeper level and I felt this love on every page. I loved the amazing chemistry between them and think Kelly Moore has written a fantastic sexy book. This August has a few other characters that would be perfect for a story of their own. I can't wait to find out what Kelly Moore has in store for us in the next book of this series.

This August is the second book in this series. It of course is another amazing book written by the creative mind of Kelly Moore. It's full of love & romance with lots of hot kinky sex. It will hold you in suspense right up until the very last page. There's a new Rylan family secret one not even August knows about and is shocked when he finds out.
August is happy living in Tennesse with Nash and their lil girl Sara. It doesn't take August long before he starts producing a new product made for tractors. August brings Sam into the picture to handle the oversea matters for the company. Sam brings TR a friend from college on board to help with affairs. Sam is excited to take over of the company. Little does Sam and the Rylan family know that one of their own can't be trusted.
August starts to receive threatening letters from "his Brother". A brother he never knew existed. After some searching August learns his father had several sexual affairs after his mothers passing. His father paid one of the women off after learning of the baby.
After Nash comes up missing. August goes on the hunt to find her. Its a definite surprise to the Rylan family over who's abducted Nash.
Sam is angered at himself with the choices he made and decides that maybe now is better then never to try figuring out life what path he will travel on his own.
I'm looking forward to reading Sam and Anna's story next.

Healing, whether physical or emotional, is the overall theme of Kelly Moore's books. Her books are entertaining and characters are dynamic, you get to know them more as you read and miss them long after the story ends. I think Next August is the most suspenseful book in the series. Why? Because Moore weaves the parallel message that personal tragedies are really not personal at all. Characters tell the story of how every life event directly or indirectly influences the outcomes of other lives. Tragedy affects ALL those connected to the ones we love and care for deeply. The book begins with main characters, August and Nashville's marriage celebration. August is the happiest he's been in years and yet some hidden unresolved issues plague what should be the beginning of a happy life for his new family and friends. I will not divulge too much, but Moore keeps us in suspense until the mystery person makes his appearance to set a series of events in motion that threaten the happiness August has found with Nash. I was anxious for the outcome but all was resolved, or was it? You have to read on! Well done Kelly Moore. Your books allow me to escape under the guise of entertainment but also challenge me to reflect on my own humanity. Thank you for such a good read. --geneva

This August was a fantastic follow-up book to Next August. We get to see August and Nash together as they work through new parenthood, yet there is still danger ever present. Loved the further development of their relationship and love, so smokin' hot. There are plenty of plot twists and turns as the danger to August and Nash draws closer. It was amazing and so emotional. You can't read this book and not cry. I can't wait to read more about them! And Sam, oh Sam...I really want to know what happens with him.

August and Nash are amazing

I love the characters in this book even more now. This continuation of August's story really held my attention from beginning to end. Getting to know more of the supporting characters has me hoping for more sooner rather than later in this series. I absolutely love this "family" and the way Kelly Moore writes the characters I very much want to see where they go next. I would love to read more of Sam and even Anna. Hopefully maybe there might be two books coming? A reader can dream.

Trouble seems to find August.

Just when August and Nash finally have everything in ace trouble finds them again. Sam comes with his friend from college to help August with his new design he's working on. No one knows the trouble lurking ahead. Once again August is in trouble for keeping secrets. Will they find the way through or is this the end?

Soooo many typos!!! It got to the point where I was proof reading instead of reading. And the timeline was hard to follow, the author would say “it took a year to build the house” so we jumped ahead a year. 🙄

Does anyone proofread these books? Not only are they filled with spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors, at times the completely wrong word is used in common phrases....the writing was elementary at best and completely unrealistic story line.

Good story, not quite a 5-star

This the second of this series, as well as the first,Next August, would easily have been a 5-star read if not for the grammatical errors. The storyline, character development and easy humor were all excellent. The build-up and conclusion were a bit anti-climactic, but the doting, genuinely deeply in love August was awesome. The development of Sam was refreshing and the melancholy ending was the exact fit. I truly loved seeing both August and Nashville evolve in this book, as well as the comical but touching bond that grew between August and Anna. Miss Moore has a true storytelling gift, except perhaps a sharper editor or beta reader is called for.

Note Well: You must read "Next August" before reading this book it just doesn't make sense if you haven't read part one.

This book followed on directly from Next August and you just had to love August and his wild ways. Nash is amazing with her patience and understanding and her way with his father.

Action aplenty occur with it being the final straw for August who makes radical changes and deals with old enemies.

I cannot recommend this series highly enough and don't want to write spoilers on this amazing story but please if you do not read another book all year make sure you read these ones.

Copy provided by author - this is a voluntary review

This August is a continuation of Next August. August and Nash are getting married, their daughter is due soon and all the secrets have come out so there is nothing to worry about. August has always needed work and control, but has given up his business and ways for Nash. Their love is magnetic, steamy and super hot! As he starts this new chapter in his life he starts receiving emails and notes that he had no idea this part of his past existed and wants revenge. The love "This August" shows throughout this book for his family and friends is so beautiful and touching.

Kelly has written a story of lots of love, laughter and suspense. I'm so happy that we will be getting Sam's story. He has grown into a young man ready to take on the world, but with his new setback I think his story will be another emotion ride to happiness that I can't wait to read.

This book was... was... brilliant! If you enjoyed book 1, you will fall in love with this one! Kelly Moore once again managed to get me in all known emotions from laugh, joy to crying.
Events starts in the place we left it in Next August. Thi time we have not only POVs from Augus and Nash but also we get one from Sam's perspective.
Plot is once again great, events are going smoothly, characters are full (i changed my attitude torward one few times during This August - and that showes it was a masterpice! Few things i was sceptical during reading but that was great in few pages that i was thinking how i could think it was strange.
August - still tries to be in control, but what if his wife has other plans? Will he allow Nash to have some control? I will tell that i was allmost rolling on the ground an with my belly hurting!
Nash as in previous book won my whole heart, but she needed to share it with one cutie - Sara :) She knows her way and what she wants and as always she has August usually under her pinky finger!
And Bacon - little sweet piglet that i fall in love with.
I think i got addicted to another series!
Higly recommended, for aults due to sex scens.

This book kept me so interested. I figured out who August 's brother was reviewed but it took me awhile to figure it out. I really really enjoyed this story. It was better then the first book. I loved the wedding scene and I loved the honeymoon scenes. I laughed and cried reading this book. Sam broke my heart at the end. He for sure needs his own story. I look forward to reading it.
