About the author

I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. I joined the Air Force, and my career took me from coast to coast before depositing me in the St. Louis, Missouri area for several years. After a tour in Korea and a short return to the St. Louis area, I retired and moved to the greater Denver, Colorado metropolitan area.
I write speculative fiction, mostly science fiction and fantasy. My favorite writers over the years have been Robert E. Howard, Philip K. Dick, Roger Zelazny, and Michael Crichton.

Mysteries and secrets

ERF forces are sent to a colony world to find a war criminal. Easy right wrong. Read to find out all the twists and turns that they go thru!!

This is exciting follow-on to the excellent Rimes novels from PR Adams. Like the previous books, "Turning Point" is full of detailed, living characters. We meet back up with Lonny Myers, now a brevet Colonel in charge of the Elite Response Force, and Ladell Barlowe of the Intelligence Bureau, as well as new characters that make up the squads of the ERF and the colonists on the frontier world Bellar. The ERF has been sent to apprehend the person responsible for the Metacorporate Wars, but things don't go as planned. The story is fast paced and gritty, with a lot of action.

I really enjoyed this book, as I did the previous books - Adams is my new favorite author.

Great Story!

This first book in this series has started out with a bang. Meyers is a protagonist to follow. It's a joy to follow great characters and this book did that.

Very Difficult to Put Down

This is a great military thriller that takes you to a distant future off-world space colony where warlords and corporations abuse each other. Once you start reading, it’ll be very difficult to take a break.

Learning on job

Interesting plot with many twists the new capt tries to solve. Could never figure out how main character was selected to lead anything but a parade. Author weaves minor characters into thriller ending. Reader give it a chance.

The Leader of the ERF Group is constantly questioning himself, I really can’t get into this story, calling it quits at 22% in. I don’t think it’s bad, especially given it’s genre, but I don’t think it’s good so 2/5

Great read

I liked the characters. Getting to know them was great. It was hard to read at first. The first book in a series always is. Setting up the story takes time. Once that was done it was hard to put down. The action was great.
