Exactly What I Wanted

I was looking for a book that helped me understand soccer tactics and different formations. This book was perfect and everything I could have asked for. I have already recommended it to two other people

This book is exactly what I was looking for. No drills just a better understanding of the tactical side.

The book is pretty slim and focuses strictly on defensive and attacking tactics, just as promised in the title. It is a bit dry and written on an abstract level. Tactics in throw-ins and free kicks is not covered, but there is some discussion of tactics on corner kicks. Overall, a quick read that introduces different attacks and defenses fairly well.
