Good story...but omg...the amount of pet names used in this book was ridiculous ! Every other word is sugar, darlin, sweets, and babe. Like omg. Literally there was on page that had the hero saying the word "sugar" to the girl 5 FRIGGIN TIMES!!!

I like my MC men angry and dirty...this one however, was not that. At all.

This is the worst book that I read in long time.
The writing is horrendous!I was really excited about this book and especially because its MC book and I love MC books, but this one...ohh...I don't know.It makes me so mad!!
Like I said the writing is awful. It is so cold it is narrative and lame!Yeah maybe its not nice from me but this is how I feel! I read so many books and when I compare this one to other ones, waste of time, waste of money.
I was sick after first sex scene. There is no emotions, no sparks no electricity between the characters, nothing at all. Everything is written in one boring tone. And that awful comment from Dane during the first sex scene??
ANd how many pow we need in a book??!
I wish I could erase this from my mind!

2.0-2.5 RATING- I wish I could have rated this higher but honestly, I just didn't like it. It had a lot of potential to be the type of guilty pleasure read I love but I just didn't care for the writing, specifically the dialogue. It didn't flow well at times and just seemed very unnatural. The multiple POV's also didn't work for me and some seemed pointless. Overall, it was just another thing to add to a writing style I found rather odd.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this book and don't have plans to read anything else by this author.

hmmmm, when I found this book, it sounded like the exact kind of book I love to read. Some romance, some danger, protection from a hot alpha, yep I love those, and it indeed had all of that. I didn't hate the book by far, I just think it could use some editing for sure. There were punctuation errors, and misspelled words, stuff I can usually look over, and could have here too. I think the book itself needed some editing to cut down some of the story. There were parts I loved about the book. The first part of the book had me hooked, then it was sort of like a roller coaster. I would really really get back into it, and love it. Then there would be like a slump that I wouldn't like as much, or maybe felt it was more drawn out, and I would end up getting bored and want to skim or would end up just giving up for the night and going to sleep. This trend seemed to happen over and over for me. I gotta say, the author put in multiple POV's and I loved that. You pretty much get a snippet into EVERYONE's Thoughts, and that was just awesome!!!

I loved Dane, he was uber hot, and actually not much like your typical biker... He was quiet possessive, to the point it made my head spin he decided he would make Kat his so fast. He was very considerate and wooo that boy had a dirty mouth on him, lol. Kat was somewhat of a badass. She got on my nerves sometimes because she seemed to make horrible decisions, to the point she was constantly endangering her own life. AND I just got to say this.... Her band members drove me insane. When you got in their head, they said how much they cared about her and wanted to make sure she was okay, but it was almost like they were saying the words, but the way they said it, or their thought process, or just the way it was written, made it feel like they said it, but didn't really mean it.

I'll more than likely keep up with the series. I like Dane enough for that alone. And of course curiosity killed the cat and all that, lol, no really I'm just OCD enough that I normally can't leave a series unfinished!! I have to always know what happens. :)

A good book but not much so far to do with the MC. I have a feeling that more might be coming so I'll hold out hope.

Kat has been performing in her band since she was just a little teeny bopper. They are among the top band's until she is in an accident. While in the hospital her mother passed away. That's where she goes when released... home.

Unknown to Kat the local MC president lives next door and was good friends with her mom. They even ran security for her trucking company.

Dane is the president of the club and has been for around five years. He has been taken his club legit or so it seems. When he finally meets Kat and gets to know her he really likes her for herself and not her money or fame.

A friend of hers gets murdered in her home while she is out at the store and Dane takes care of her. Turns out she has a stalker. The club is protecting her but with fans and the press can they always keep her safe?

There's a lot of hints of stuff to come and hopefully we will see more MC action.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

This was a fast-paced romantic suspense. I loved how the heroine was a former rock star who’s injured and can no longer sing. But just because she can’t perform anymore, doesn’t mean that her fans are any less dedicated. Or obsessed.
I enjoyed the possibility that pretty much anyone she met could be her stalker. The only one we knew for sure wasn’t stalking her was her love interest, Dane.
The book is mostly from Kat and Dane’s points of view, but we get many other POVs throughout. At times, it felt like a bit much, and it ended up taking me out of the romance, but it really did help with the suspense plotline. We got POV scenes from multiple members of the motorcycle club and from each and every one of her bandmates. However, there was a major clue in the book given early on that, to me, revealed who the stalker was right away. It wasn’t even a hint. It was during a scene from the stalker’s POV, and he/she said something that made it immediately obvious who they were. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed the unique way that the story was approached.

Why I found this book interesting in the first place:
-MC, alpha biker
-rock star
-stalker

What I liked about this book and made it to 2*:
-it was FREE on Amazon
-one character; Ms Saunders aka heroine's mom

What I didn't like:

The plot
description

It started off semi-okay, but the whole accident scene and what happened after was kinda weird
description

but I ignored it and moved on to the scene where h meets H. I have no words for that...
description

if I thought that was bad...the dual POV turned into multiple POV. Every character in the book has his/her 2 page POV and it's messy. Really messy.
description

Pet names. H calls h Darlin' every single time as in every effin sentence
description

Sex scenes. I have never read anything like this before. I can't say why, but it made me
description

Stalker's POV

I'm really sorry, but I didn't like it. That does not mean you won't so decide for yourself.

ROCK GODDESS MEETS PRESIDENT OF MC CLUB WOOHOO

I liked it the story was fab I love rock star romances and Alpha males it's also hot so this was a must read for me.

Dane is president of the MC trying to change the image and protect the town they live in.
Kat is in a famous band and a star she has a tragic accident and moves from the media to this small town to recover and hide out.

There out in the stix where Dane also has a house this is how they meet and once he sees Kat, Dane becomes the one person she won't be able to hide out from with instant attraction and chemistry.

Dane is a dominant male claims Kat this is where you see this hard biker turn to putty in the hands of a woman.

Someone's stalking kat and that doesn't go down well with this group of Alpha males, Dane is protective of Kat and like any m.c they protect what's theirs.

Fast paced with good plot so you just want to keep turning the pages to see what happens.

Loved the pov from each character it gave you a chance to get into the head of each character it was different I liked that.
Great read.

I was in the mood for something featuring a MC, protectiveness, found family, and scary men who are nice boys to just her. I hoped this would be that, as it’s on kindle unlimited and about an MC. It was ok, but I didn’t fall in love with it. The writing wasn’t my style and so I found the relationship less believable, and less adorable than I hoped. The portrayal of sex in this, I felt, was a bit too much too soon, for the relationship being built up. The stalker component seemed like an afterthought plot point and largely unnecessary. It’s fine if you have a thing for MCs and want lots of sex and lots of foul language. But I felt it was all a bit of an exaggerated caricature.

I'm marking this as "read" even though I'm only .... *checks* .... 17% of the way through so that I can bitch and moan about like, everything.

The author has a habit of having her characters tell each other information they should already know so the reader can know, but that makes no fucking sense in a first person POV.

This is hands down the worst narrative style I've ever read. Chapter 9 has the MC dudes meeting Kat, then she leaves along with her first person POV. Chapter 10 is MC Dude #1 POV - his reaction to the H/h together, his description of himself, and how he felt about Kat's mom. Chapter 11 is MC Dude #2 POV - his reaction to the H/h together, his description of himself, and how he felt about Kat's mom. Chapter 12 is... you guessed it: MC Dude #3 POV - his reaction to the H/h together, his description of himself, and how he felt about Kat's mom. It's literally the same format, three nearly identical paragraphs, from each dude. We've now witnessed the H/h walk away FOUR times. And looking ahead, there seem to be at least 3 more of these tiny chapters. That's messed up. Couldn't all of this have been handled in a single conversation between these men after the H/h left the room? I think so.

She's been in this dude's house all of 10 seconds and she's already imagining adding a woman's touch. *epic eye roll*

Oh wait, 10 seconds after that, she's giving him the keys and alarm code to her house so she can spend the night because she faked hurting her ankle and apparently she's now being kidnapped but she's kind of okay with it? I mean, he just kept repeating "give me your keys and code" until she did it. She's dumb.

As further evidenced by the fact that her alarm code is her house number.

And this dumb fucking dude hands the code and keys over to another dude! WHAT THE FUCK?! He gets angry at her for using her house number as her alarm code because omg so dangerous, but then he immediately tells somebody else, in a room full of people no less, what her alarm code is. Like, you're just setting her up to be murdered in the shower, bruh.

Can I just say this is a terrible set up?

How much sense does this make? She faked an ankle injury in hopes that I dunno, he would leave her on the side of the mountain instead of pointing out that she was all alone with him without anyone else knowing where she is. So already, illogical. But then he's like "I'm gonna make her stay here overnight and not take her home because I scared her earlier." No. No. No. How does forcing her to stay in your home solve the problem of her being scared of you?! Stockholm Syndrome, that's how.

I can't do this. I'm changing it to DNF and stopping at 31% when a guy jizzed on a window.

I just finished binging on Kathleen Kelly’s MacKenny Brothers MC series and will now be on the Savage Angels MC series. These series are all tagged as being MC romances and I don’t do romances. So why am I reading Kathleen’s books, let alone binging on them? I probably wouldn't have been if I hadn’t downloaded the first book in the MacKenny Brothers series as part of a promotional bundle. I kept reading Kelly’s books because of their violence and erotica content, both being lifestyles that I can identify with.
They say that great fiction mirrors real life and these MC tales certainly do that. There are strong romances in these stories with happy-ever-after endings for all you gals that long for those endings, with enough sex and blood and guts for all those readers who need that to make a book a great read.
These series are episodic serials, so they can be read as standalone novels and enjoyed, but each new book builds upon the ones preceding it, so it’s best to read them in the order that Kelly wrote them. All these stories are character-driven tales, characters so life-like that you will want to be with them from the very beginning of their fictional lives.

All these stories have several POV (point-of-view) characters. Many authors write this way, but few do it as well as Kathleen Kelly. The problem with using multiple POV characters is that it’s very easy to confuse the reader as to who is telling the story, but with Kelly that is never an issue.

If I have anything negative to say about Savage Stalker, it’s the extremely short chapters. There are 65 chapters and an epilogue in this 382-page book. I think that this would have been a smoother read if 2 or 3 of those very short chapters were combined into one, especially those where POV doesn’t change.

I liked that Kat was down to earth for a super famous rock star but I didn't like how she handled the whole drinking and driving thing. After the accident, she chooses to isolate herself...but meets Dane while jogging in the woods.
Did anyone else feel it was a little creepy for him to be spying/stalking her all that time? Then, pretend like it was just a coincidence. Her faking a twisted ankle was cheesy, but Dane took it as an excuse to keep her at his house. We find out a little about Kat's mom and how she was not the person Kat though she was. I want more details about Mrs. Saunders.

The switching POVs was a little tedious, especially when all the bikers "introduced" themselves. They did, however, become a big ol' family and that was nice.

Dane knew right away that Kat was destined to be his. That was super sweet and their chemistry was off the charts. It was nice that Kat was able to be herself with Dane and their love grew deep very quickly.

The mystery stalker/murderer had me guessing for a while. I was sure it was one person, but I was wrong. All in all, a good book and I'll probably continue with the series.

A suspenseful story about Kat, the former rock star, and Dane, president of the Savage Angels MC. It’s insta-lust and sex in the first 24 hours and insta-love within a few days. But the story line is very interesting and kept me hanging on to find out who the villain actually is. I thought I figured that out but the author kept dropping in other possibilities so it kept me reading. Kat, a former mega rock star, has an accident that ends her singing career. She retreats to her deceased Mother’s country home and encounters the neighbor, Dane. Dane had a very close relationship with Kat’s mother and wants to take care of Kat also. Enter the stalker. Kat has a stalker who is mentally unstable, loves her and thinks she belongs to him. Dane and his very likeable bunch of MC members take on the responsibility of protecting her. There’s murder when an innocent woman is killed by the stalker and action when Kat’s former band reunites with her to support her during the investigation. Dane is a hot hero and even though it’s too quick, it’s believable that he loves Kat and that Kat loves him.
I would classify this one as biker lite and say that the author did a pretty good job of writing a good who-dun-it story.

This is a really enjoyable debut novel. It's based on Kat, a rock star and Dane the president of Savage Angels MC. A rocker and a biker- what a combination. Loved how both the main characters have a great family we get to read about. There are quite a few different point of view which kept me on my toes. The suspense was brilliant. I failed to guess who the stalker was. Great read. Loved it.

I quit at 14%. It wasn't flowing well for me and there were too many POVs. At 14% I was on the 5th person and that's just too much to keep up with. I hadn't even had a chance to connect with the two main characters yet. I can't keep up with that many people!!!!!!

Oh. This girl says implies she's too fat for him to carry her, then says she's 122lbs. I don't know what kind of crack this author was smoking but that's not fat.

I didn't give it any stars because I don't want to hurt the book, and other people might like this kind of fic.

*** JOSIE'S 4.5 STAR REVIEW ***

Where do I start? Well first off we have a female diva rock star and a President of an MC. Sounds interesting. Interesting is exactly what Savage Stalker was, so much so that I couldn’t stop reading. I absolutely loved that the author added my two favorite genres into one story. I just knew it was going to be good. Ms. Kelly gives multiple POV’s besides the two main characters. I didn’t fine it confusing, I actually found myself really enjoying being in a bunch of characters heads. The storyline was really engaging as it wasn’t just about finding love but it was also suspenseful and had some twist and turns.

Katarina Saunders is the lead singer for The Grinders and is a well-known international rock star. While fleeing in a car to try and escape her fiancé, paparazzi and fans, Kat gets into a terrible accident. The accident has basically ended her career so she returns home to her mother’s home to get away from her crazy life and from everyone.

Ladies, lets meet Dane, president and holy hotness of the Savage MC’s. He is one fierce, tough and protective man. He has always had an interest in Kat ever since her ma spoke of her. He has been keeping an eye on her ever since she moved back into her ma’s house nearly a year ago. He has been patiently waiting for Kat to come over but he when she doesn’t he has enough and goes to her. There is no denying Dane and Kat are attracted to each another, but Dane doesn’t wait for things to happen. He takes what he wants and in this case it is Kat.

Being around Kat is different for him. He never has women or hang-a-rounds in his home only outside the compound, but for some reason he likes Kat there. Kat is different, the more he is around her the more he sees just how special she is. Kat has always been in the spotlight. She has never had someone one to protect and keep her safe besides her manager until Dane. However, she feels comfortable, safe and cherished when they are together.

“Worlds a big place Dane. Not everyone wants to kiss me, some want to do be harm, and I’m not sure you can protect me from everyone.”

“I can and with my brothers, I will. You’ll be safe, Kat. I promise.”

And with the promise to keep Kat safe Dane and Kat’s world collide. It doesn’t take to long for the two to form a relationship and let me tell you it is a hot and heavy one. Dane has his work cut out for him because Kat has a crazy stalker who is determined to get to her and is willing to do anything to do it.

“Stay in that position but spread your legs for me, darling. I want to f*** you again, but I need you to do exactly as I say or you don’t get to have any fun. Tell me what you want me to do. Tell me how you want me to f*** you.”

“I want to sit on the vanity. I want to face you when you f*** me.”

“Spread your legs wider, darlin’. I want your c*** wide open for me.”

The stalker’s POV was creepy but I enjoyed getting his thoughts and I was even trying to figure out who it was. I had so many suspects but no one I suspected ended up right, go figure.

“It’s not the first time I’ve been in her home. I’ve even watched her sleep. I’ve been waiting for her to be well again. I wanted to show her how much I love her, but then she f***** that heathen after only one day! One f****** day and she is in his bed!”

The relationships of all the characters in this story are nice and easy. There was such a natural comradery and easy banter shared between them. The added suspense kept me on my toes. I honestly had no idea who it was. Kat and her band stay with the Savage MC’s while they work hard to protect her but once they are thrown into the spot light things prove difficult for Dane and the Savage MC’s. Will Dane be able to keep his promise to keep Kat safe? Will the stalker finally get the chance to get to Kat? There are more books to come in this series and these books will focus on the other members of the Savage MC. I can’t wait for Dirt, Bear, Judge, and Jonas’s books.

Its been a while but 10th time read and still love it Oh my goodness this was such a wicked hot read. Kat Saunders Rock star lead singer for the Grinders is at the top of her career she wow's the audience every time she is on stage than one tragic evening it is all taken away.

Months after coming out of hospital Kat has gone home to her home town to find that her Mother has passed away and that her neighbours are a MC club.

Dane hot sexy and the Prez of the Savages Angels has known Kat's mum for years and has inherited her trucking company, he runs into Kat one afternoon as she is out for a run, and one thing leads to the next, there is something between them that both want to discover, though there is a threat to Kat's life someone is Stalking her who is it?

The heat and passion and love these two have for each other is off the charts I loved this book and recommend you go out and get your copy HOT HOT HOT you wont be disappointed loved it.

Extra review:

6th time read and just as wicked, Kat moves back afyer the accident and meets Dane the Pres of the Savage Angels MC.

The there is someone watching her and a murder who is it and who gets killed?

The other band members of the grinders are all doing their own thing till Dane asks them all to come to his home.

You won't believe who it is.

**I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**

Sometimes the first chapter of a book just reaches out and grabs you, with that small introduction you are lost in the story. This one wasn't one of those books. It started off a little slow for me, but I stuck with it. I am so glad I did! The story picked up and I got lost in Tourmaline.

Multiple POV's is something I have read before but never with this many characters. At times I was curious as to why we were seeing so many POV's but with Savage Stalker it seemed to work. You get to see more than the MC's thoughts on certain situations. I wondered at first if it was too much but I came to enjoy seeing things from all the characters POV.

I am a sucker for a love story wrapped in suspense Dane and Kat had that. There are still so many questions left unanswered. I can't wait till Savage Fire to see if I find my answers.

Review from Abibliophobia Anonymous Book Reviews

This is a great start to this series. I really enjoyed it and it was a quick read for me. I like that the book wasn't centered around the MC. I also liked how some of the other characters got a chapter from their perspective, including the stalker.

The reason for the 4 star is that I felt who the stalker was, was predictable, at least for me. I knew right away who it was.

Katrina Saunders, or Kat, is a rock star, well, was, until the accident. Her Ma died after Kat's accident. Kat moved to her mom's old house in the mountains to get away from fans and the paparazzi. She keeps to herself, hasn't left her property in 12 months. She does run though. And that's how she meets Dane.

Dane Reynolds is the president of the Savage Angels MC. He is also Kat's neighbor, and loved Ma Saunders. She would make the MC muffins and every Sunday, she would make them breakfast.

Once Dane meets Kat, things take off for them. I do like both of these characters.

I can't wait for Ma's secrets to come out. I don't think she was what she seemed.

I liked the blurb and wanted to know their story but I only made it to half the book.
For me, it became boring really quickly and there was the word 'fuck' used (from every character) so many times that it started to get on my nerves. The mystery of who is the stalker/murderer was the only thing that kept me going but not for long, since I only made it to half the story.

Hope someone else has more luck with this one... :/

Absolutely loving reading a rockstar lead … where the rockstar isn’t a male. This book wastes no time sucking me in—at the beginning, there’s a skeevy boyfriend, a dramatic, public break-up, a life-changing car-wreck … and it takes off even more from there. There’s so much to enjoy that I’ll never manage to name it all, but here are a few highlights:

🏍️ A creepy stalker, and their occasional POV.
💙 Flashbacks so we get the complete picture / background for all relevant parties.
🏍️ A loveable new girl-bestie.
💙 Murder / mystery.
🏍️ Small town / everyone knows everyone.
💙 A badass MC … but with heart.
🏍️ Absolutely audacious, (so accurately depicted) press.
💙 Strong-willed female lead.
🏍️ Kidnapping.
💙 Lots of rockstars.
🏍️ So much drama!

Overall this was an exciting, fast-paced read and I cannot wait to read on in this world.
4 stars.

HOLY DANE!!! FUDGE! This was a H.O.T. as hell read. Great suspense, great set up, creepy ass stalker, multi POV's. Even stalkers!! Great sex, hot ass alpha, motorcycles, sex, and did I mention wonderful story plot? You met : Katarina Saunders. Kat to the world, international rock star. Lead singer for The Grinders. Until an accident that ruins her career and sends her running into the mountains, away from everything and everyone. Dane Reynolds, President of the Savage Angels MC. Fierce, strong and loyal. He is loyal, protective, strong, sexy, and down right bad ass. She is tough, smart ass, take no crap from no one. But once she is hurt , she hids and he ( Dane) looks over her, but sadly so is her stalker. Go out and grab this one! Read it and fall in love!!

My Review:

A lively introduction to the Savage Angels MC, Savage Stalker provided me with an entertaining plot, sweet love story, suspense, erotic sensual scenes, and intrigue. I enjoyed every one of these unique and colorful characters, as well as how they meshed and supported one another better than their families ever had. I plan to make my way through the entire series and acquaint myself with each hot and hunky member of this crew.

Loved this book by debut author Kathleen Kelly, the characters flowed with ease; Kat (Katrina Saunders) is a girl with a great career until the accident. Dane Reynolds is a biker, who has admired Kat from afar. Until one day their lives collide, Kat is attracted to Dane but isn’t sure about him. Dane just wants to protect her from her troubled past. Loved the way the story flowed from their different worlds. Looking forward to Kathleen’s next book.

I really loved this story, a rock star and a biker... how could I not?! I'm a huge fan of Dane & Kat and the way their relationship develops. Great writing in the way of multiple POV's, that's not an easy way to write.

Yes, the book could have done with some additional editing but if you can see past that to the great writing potential and brilliant story telling, you'll love this book as well.

Really looking forward to book 2, Savage Fire which releases real soon!

I re-read this book and reminded myself how much I enjoyed it. This was the first book I had ever read from Kathleen Kelly. It was intriguing, action packed, and highly entertaining. I absolutely enjoyed this book.
