[Siren Menage Erotic Paranormal Menage a Trois Romance, M/F/M, Public Exhibition] While searching for her missing brother, Micki Langley visits a nightclub with a notorious reputation as ménage a trois central and comes face-to-face with two amazing men straight from her fantasies. Ancient jinn Jared endures heavy guilt and wants nothing to do with the human girl. Tripling is necessary to keep immortals alive, but his hunger for Micki is far beyond normal. Though warrior angel Bradley completes their threesome, he despises Jared for his tainted reputation. He vows the jinn won't hurt the gorgeous human and has no problem fighting him to prove it. But when the threesome comes together, they share more than an exchange of energy, they share an unshakable bond that generates astounding power. Their enemies seek to destroy their perfect triad, which could unsettle the balance of power between angels and demons. Will the threesome be able to stand strong together - in trust and love - to defeat the relentless evil? "Over lunch with an author friend, I shared an idea I'd been considering for a book. What if immortals' very existence depended on tripling with humans, similar to the laws of electricity (positive, negative, conduit)? She loved the idea. Many months later, that idea became a book with two amazing immortal heroes and one gorgeous Eternally Perfection." ~ Kris ~ A Siren Erotic Romance

This book started off with a bang - the author did a wonderful job of pulling me in within the first paragraph. Unfortunately, the story wasn't able to maintain that level of interest throughout.

There was nothing wrong with the story- it was well-written and had an interesting, fairly unique premise. My rating is primarily based on personal preference. Two things brought this down for me:

1) I personally prefer character-driven novels. The momentum in this book comes almost exclusively from the action and storyline. I didn't dislike the MCs, but I wasn't personally invested in them either. This may just be inherent in how the story was constructed, but I would have preferred learning more about the characters' thoughts and motivations. The lack of these resulted in a book that seemed more erotica than romance, to me.

2) The BDSM seemed extraneous. I enjoy BDSM because it is often used as a catalyst for character growth and/or to provide additional insight to the character. Here, it is used solely for titillation. Again, this is just a personal preference.

Another random note- I seem to be nitpicky about the language used in romances. I prefer cock over dick, and I rather dislike the use of cunt. This is not a big enough reason to downgrade a book, but it did distract me when a distasteful word was used repeatedly. This may also have affected me because of the blunt dirty-talk way it was used, which I also tend to shy away from (yes, I know that it's a bit oxymoronic for a reader of romance novels, bit oh well- I'm claiming it nonetheless!)

In the end, if you are looking for a fast-paced, sexy, light read, you'll probably love this. It just didn't hit my hot buttons.

In the world Kris Cook has created with his Eternally Three series, immortals live among us. But they need a certain sexual energy to sustain their life force. An angel must join with a jinn and a human in "tripling" and share energy. (By the way, a "tripling" is exactly what you think it is.)

This story follows Micki, a human woman who is searching for her missing brother. She knows something is wrong, thanks to a cryptic message he left her, asking her to bring his flash drive to a club and give it to a man named David. It turns out that the club is a hedonistic house of flesh. And once she arrives, she has trouble remembering her mission. All she can think about is her erotic attraction to the two men who remind her of the dirty sex dreams she's been having. --And wouldn't you know it? One of them is a jinn and the other, an angel.

Apparently, David's a big muckety-muck in the supernatural world and he has assigned Jared and Bradley to watch over Micki. And boy, do they ever. But the mind-blowing sex reveals there is something special about their tripling and the woman in the center of it. As the book progresses, we see Micki, Jared, and Bradley fight the agents of the Dark who hope to harness their power, search for Micki's missing brother, and have lots and lots of sex.

The menage action is seriously hot. Dirty, sweaty, slutty, look over-your-shoulder to-see-who's-watching-you-read hot. Micki is the clueless human, learning to embrace her carnal side... Bradley, the do-right angel... and Jared, the damaged jinn who is trying to redeem himself for past mistakes. It's a fun supernatural sexcapade, with a fairly straightforward conflict to anchor the dirty bits together. And they were good dirty bits --but I had a few nitpicks. One: You have to accept a lot of the supernatural parts of the story at face value, without a lot of world-building. Two: It bothered me a little how easily Micki jumped into the nasty with two strangers in a public place, no matter how hot they were. And three: As good as the sex is between among them, they all fell in love really fast.

It was fast, fun ride, though... as long as you don't try to take it too seriously. A little more than 3 stars.

Maybe 3.5 or maybe I'm just getting a little tired of erotica. I assumed Kris was a female... but it turns out it's a male, which explains the slightly more coarse narrative. Even in the most graphic erotica, women tend to shy away from certain words. The premise in this book was interesting, and there's clearly going to be a sequel which I'll probably read.

I’ve seen Kris around on Twitter, loved his tweets but I had never read a book of his. So, I started searching, downloaded a copy of his first release read it and immediately sent him an e-mail begging him to do an interview for my blog, which he graciously agreed to do.

PERFECTION is a hot, erotic romance. From the first page you immediately get pulled into Micki’s quest and feel for her and the emotions that she’s going through. I immediately connected with Micki, which surprised me, because as you know from reading my blog, I often find some of the heroines in books I read annoying twats. I did not feel that way with Micki. However, having said that, I did find it hard to believe that she would quickly jump into a ménage despite the . . . nevermind that would be a spoiler. Anyhoo, theirs a great psychological as well as physical reason why Micki needs to be in a ménage relationship, but while the reader and the other two men in the ménage know the reasons, Micki did not. I was annoyed that despite the umm heat she was in that she didn’t question more, and I was annoyed with Jared and Bradley for not telling her everything right up front. It took me a minute to get over that.

Not that much of a minute, because the smexing was scorching. Really scorching. I appreciated that the smexing wasn’t just an insertion of random body parts, and was filled wish caring and respect. I also loved the uniqueness of the plot of how the angels, demons, human’s, djinns, and how they all interrelated and needed each other to survive. My only gripe with PERFECTION is that I wished that the emotions of the three characters were delved into more deeply so that I could buy into their happily ever after a little more. Of course, that didn’t stop me from buying the second book in this series, so call me a big fat old hypocrite!

I read this in response to a challenge and not only did the menage angle appeal to me, I was surprised at the paranormal side. The story was really promising and I liked the concepts, how Kris Cook conjured up the whole thing and created this world where mortals coexist with immortals. They're just hiding in human facades, they can dematerialize at will, become invisible, and have mental telepathy.

A little introduction could've done much good though. This is one of those novels that dampens my desire because I felt like I stumbled upon in the middle of something, there was information overload, and I don't know what's what anymore. With the pace of the book I felt as if the author's saying I must know about these things. I hated that part.

The sex...what can I say? Of course they're hot, but sometimes some words really didn't jibe with what's going on. I tried to read this in one sitting but found that my interest wanes so finally I finished this. It has a weak plot and storyline was average.

Trilogy of Passion....

I was ecstatic that Kris Cook wrote Book 2 of the Eternal Trio Series.

Mike Langley receives a very cryptic message from his brother Thom asking him to deliver an item of utmost importance to a man that hangs out at an infamous club known for its questionable dealings with the Netherworld. In his quest, Mike comes in contact with 2 physically gorgeous men who he totally falls in lust with. One is a biker, the other a soldier. He is so freaked out when he sees them, because he has been having erotic dreams involving these exact men. Mike does not know that Alec is an Angel and that Jared is a disgraced Jinn.

This trio when joined together have the combined power to ward off and destroy the evil that has Mike's brother in their clutches. Mike's 2 protectors have inner demons of their own and need to come to terms in order to protect their ward from coming to harm.

This story is heart wrenching and emotional to watch as the human, the Angel and the Jinn unravel and then come together to reach all their dreams of becoming ONE...

If you loved the first book in this series you'll love this one too.  🔥🔥I got to the ending of this and it actually was speechless. Damm the author writes amazing endings in books. Finding Thom is only a part of this book which includes much more. This could be read as a standalone but I'd recommend reading this in order to understand the Club and David's roll in the series.
Includes mmm sexy scenes, enemies to lovers, danger and drama as scenes play out. David, he likes keeping his secrets from the others, yah I got to love hate him for playing his games. The evil darkness is not far and they want Mike.. Sorry no spoilers you gotta read it. Ending story with a HEA with pov's to characters in scenes.

When Mike goes searching for his missing brother, Thom his first lead was in a sexy club and a man named David.
Jared couldn't keep his eyes of the guy in black...   yip definitely a great start 😉🔥

Zone Three has a reputation for catering to people with a specific sexual taste that was where Mike Lang found himself.
Mike was looking for his brother Thom who was nowhere to be found , this place was his only clue.
Mike meets Jared and Alex who are they really ?
Can they help me find my brother?
Mike finds the sexual attraction between Jared and Alex and himself exceedingly hot the sexual heat radiating from them was like a furnace..

An angel a Jinn and one human can make such a difference as immortals need a human for life essence , a traid , there is Mike , Jared and Alex if they have a trippling what will happen to them will they belong to each other or not ?
Paranormal isn't usually my reading taste but with all of Kris Cooks books before you know it you and full into the chapters following all the characters .
This story grows on me so much that I had a second read-

Let me just say that the idea and premise for this book is really good. I like the whole angel thing and at times in this book the author pulled it off great.

For the most part though this was almost painful to read at times. Their first sex scene was just painful. It took forever, all the kissing and feeling up and internal angst with one of the guys about how he shouldn't he swore he never would etc. I honestly found myself praying for premature ejaculation at one point (and that is so NOT me). After I got through that it did pick up some and the story started to fill out a bit. I think with a little more experience under their belt the author will develop into their style nicely. Like I said the premise and idea behind the book is awesome.

I really enjoy sci-fi/futuristic erotic romance, and for some reason this popped up when I was searching...it's actually more fantasy. It was pretty good, there were a couple times where I was like..."Wait? What?!?" However, the ending was heartrending.

SPOILERS

When I got to the part where Bradley and Micki were chained to the table, I My professor started to pass out the exam, I think perhaps I didn't do very well on the exam because I was so distracted! I actually sat in my car to read it after class!

END

I really do recomend this book.

I loved this book!! It is a fantastic start to an amazing series. I loved the dynamic between not only the heroine Micki and the two hero's (Warrior Angel Bradley and Ancient Jinn Jared) but between the men as well. The world of Eternally Three is totally fresh and like nothing I have ever read before. This is a must read by an author who has created a wonderful world of good and evil with a very sexy edge. Warning the sex is mind blowing and definitely cold shower material !!

This book was excellent. I loved all the characters and how they each felt like individuals. The sex was super hot too. As a woman who doesn't read a lot of male authors, I was nicely surprised. Also the length of the book was decent. It wasn't one of those mini books that you often don't know you are buying.

I am DNFing this one - just not for me.

I don't like the heroine..at all. And find the set-up for the sex just a little too out there. I will say the two dudes are kinda hot - but just not working for me.

This one had premise, but I was quickly turned off. There was just something about the first chapter that things didn't work for me. The heroine seemed clueless, the heroes to macho. In the end this one just wasn't for me.

It had that 'edge' you know like in Jack George Edmunson The Sun Sharer. An edge, something different that made you keep reading.
