This book entails the life of one who has not only become internationally respected as a UFO investigator and author but now as a so-called UFO abductee. It is strikingly different from other works dealing with UFO abductions in that it will provide an overview of the complete life of an abductee from early childhood to sunset years of his life. The exciting descriptions of UFO sightings, investigations and documentation would be worthy of a book themselves. The Chief Scientific Consultant for the USAF UFO Project Bluebook, Astronomer Dr. Hynek is on record as "Raymond Fowler whose meticulous and detailed investigations far exceed the investigations of Bluebook." However, this book is about much more than investigating UFO sightings. Throughout the warp and weft of the author's UFO and paranormal experiences is the slow but sure realization that he has been investigated since childhood by the very phenomenon he was investigating!
Raymond Fowler is primarily known as one of the world’s premiere UFO investigators, being a prominent figure in the UFOlogy field with the publication of his first book, The Andreasson Affair about the alleged abduction experience of Betty Andreasson later Luca. Because of all the dis- and misinformation in the area of UFOlogy, not to mention the outright lies perpetrated by many, it’s extremely difficult to discern if what is being imparted is true. True in the sense that it actually occurred, not just that the person relating it truly believes what she or he is saying. So it goes without saying that many of these so-called ‘UFO investigators’ – especially who have worked with MUFON, have been known to be suspect.
Does Raymond Fowler fall in that category? It’s difficult to say, although my gut feeling tells me that the fact that the UFO abduction experience which has been not only prevalent in Mr. Fowler’s life but in the lives of family members as well, may indicate – at the least – something more. From what is understood, the abductions are generational or happen to several generations within a family, as though the extraterrestrials are following a lineage of genetic patterns which can only be ascertained (or repaired? tweaked?) by working with the entire lineage.
What most don’t realize is that the reason most people become interested in the UFO/ET phenomenon is typically due to their own personal anomalous experiences, either with the paranormal (i.e. ghosts, etc.) or UFOs and/or ET’s. After having read several of Mr. Fowler’s investigative accounts, as well as his several books on Betty Andreasson, I’d have to say that he is a man driven to learn the truth, both of the overall UFO/ET scenario, as well as what has occurred in his own life.
Kudos to Mr. Fowler for a well written series of books. I started out a skeptic in the sense that I wasn’t convinced he was who he claimed to be, but after digesting a majority of his work and his personal experiences I’d have to admit that more than likely, he is a UFO/ET abductee himself.
This is a well-informed testimony from a resident of the Kennebunks whom I know personally, and admire for his career as a UFO investigator as well as an NDE experiencer. I recommend it highly.
