I am a VERY BIG fan of the movie The Wizard of Oz and this book has everything you ever wanted to know about Frank Baum and the marvelous journey of Oz.

The simple, homespun philosophy of The Wizard of Oz is there is no place like home, that everybody has a heart, a brain, courage, and these are the gifts that are given to you when you come on this earth. Use them properly and you will reach the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and that pot of gold is home. Oz shows us that a home is not just a house, an abode, material things it's the people who live there, the ones you love, the ones who love you that are a home.

A charming history of all things Oz, written by John Fricke, amidst photographs of the incredibly extensive Oziana collection owned by Willard Carroll. When you consider that The Wonderful Wizard of Oz was first published in 1900 (120 years ago!), the longevity and impact of the story and its characters is astounding. If you're a die-hard Oz fan like I am, you'll love this book!
