Amethyst has been kidnapped! Shawn and Amethyst's sisters are frantic. Amethyst left work and never made it home. Steele Renton is convinced that Amethyst stole his powers...and he'll stop at nothing to get them back. He's got plans for the night of the eclipse that could cost Amethyst more than just her empathic ability.
I write books. I've always been a writer. I know it's cliche but I started writing almost as soon as I learned to read. I wrote a play for school--in the third grade--that they put on for Christmas that year. I've never quite forgiven my sister for getting married that night. I missed my own production!
I've worked in various fields throughout my career. I was a cop, EMT, photographer, journalist, high school English teacher for special education, and most recently, a published author.
I enjoy using the skills I've learned in those jobs in my writing. A little less research is needed when I write books with police or medical information.
Authors write because they have a story to tell. They publish to tell you their story. Please be sure to leave a review when you read a book you enjoy. We do appreciate it, I promise.
This bok is the second half of the fifth book in this series. You really won't understand anything that is happening if you haven't read the previous books first.
"Sharp as Steele" by Hope Welsh is the sixth book in the "Karma's Witches" series. Previously, book five, "Healing Karma" ended with the kidnapping of Amethyst by Steele Renton. Angry doesn't begin to describe Amy's feelings over the situation. Her main concern is keeping Shawn away so that he doesn't get hurt. Meanwhile, Steele and his brothers Flint and Ian strongly believe that Amy and her sisters stole their powers. Determined to get them back he uses intimidation and empty threats to get Amy to cooperate. But after spending most of the day with her, he's not entirely convinced they're to blame. Overall, I enjoyed this latest addition to the series.
So short! Just when the pace is moving, it's over. I bought the series as a set of 7 and I am shocked that 3 days later I have finished. For such a small amount of text, I feel the price should have been less. Also, the books still need a lot of editing. Entertaining but frustrating when grown women behave so childishly. Amber has a pass (though she is the only one who appears to be growing) but Amy is a bit bratty for an adult. Tg for Paz being snarky she keeps the books fun.
Wow this is book 6 of the Karma Witches series and this one was packed with information. This series just keeps getting better with each book no matter which author is doing the story telling. They are all equal and brilliant with their seamless transitions from one book to the next. I love this series. Just keep them coming.
I really like this series and how the authors write a book each in order. Elizabeth Reeves is one of my favorites and the others are becoming one as well.
