The arch-villain Darkseid has captured Wonder Woman and locked her up in a filthy dungeon on the planet Apokolips. He hopes to break her will and use her against Superman and the Justice League. Robbed of her armor and her magic lasso, it takes all of Diana’s power to resist her captor, knowing she must escape soon or betray her friends. As she musters her strength to break free, Wonder Woman must prove to herself that she is a super hero with or without her magical weapons–or die trying.

Didn't really dig this. I'm so used to the Graphic Audio productions now that this was just boring, and I believe it was abridged, which to me ruins it.
SO the story was meh, and felt like it was missing things.
Absolutely fantastic. It brought me back to my childhood memories of watching Justice League on the tv. Back when the heroes we all know and love were genuine. This was a great look into Wonder Woman.
This really should have been a wonder woman novel not a JLA one as 98% of it was just wonder woman's story. With a different backstory than traditional and a rather more abrasive personality than I was used too. Overall a decent story with lots of action but just not a thrill ride as I was hoping.
A quick and fun read, The Gauntlet read like a JL episode and took me back to how much I love the television series. Though the author could benefit from using fewer exclamation marks, it was a good way to kill two hours. If you're looking for a good kids book for young readers, or just want to enjoy an easy read about Wonder Woman, this would be an excellent choice.
