Anna Livia was a lesbian feminist writer and linguistic theorist. Born in Ireland, she grew up in London, England and Swaziland. As a professor, she taught at the University of Illinois and the University of California, Berkeley.

I quite literally love this book with my whole heart, and although a year has gone by since I read it, I still think of it often. One of the first books I read that had three openly lesbian characters who were sometimes great, sometimes shitty, but always trying their absolute hardest. A little gem.
