Me... what can I say...I love to read books as well as write them!
I enjoy spending time with my baby girl, even though she's now 4 years old! She keeps me on my toes and looking forward to all the exciting things to come!
I enjoy learning and growing daily, finding new things to treasure and being grateful for everything that comes my way!
This story is just down right one of T Renee's best yet she keeps getting better all the time!
Baylee is all about making sure everyone else is happy no matter the cost. She will put her happiness to the side for her friends. Baylee is also close to her brother very close. They talk all the time. He was all she had growing up. Both parents worked a lot. She wants her brothers best friend but never tells him that.
Lily is her friend from back home. Her best friend. But she changes when she wants Evan and he doesn't want her. She wants Baylee to talk to him and help her to get him. She also joins a fraternity and that makes her different. She's not there for Baylee much anymore.
Dani is an amazing best friend she meets in college. She tells it like it is and doesn't put up with anything from anyone. She doesn't like Lily.
Evan is the hottie who is best friends with her brother and he promised her brother he would watch out for Baylee in college since they go to the same one. They have been close all her life. He's a life savor and there for her when she needs him most.
What happens when the biggest tragedy hits Baylee's life? Will things come together for her or does it fall apart worse? Will she find out who her true friends really are? Will she get her HEA?
Amazing book T! Thank you for letting me read this I loved it. Just amazing.
Loved this story! Great lesson in being your own person! Baylee starts college with her best friend, Lily. They both crush on the same boy from their hometown, who is also Baylee's brother's best friend. Baylee finally has her eyes open to Lily, who is not really a good friend. Luckily Baylee's roommate becomes a true friend. Many things happen, angst, cheating and a terrible tragedy, showing Baylee real friendship. A lot of good life lessons! Only thing that bothered me was the authors use of he/she said kindly, way too much because we don't necessarily need to know everytime something is said kindly. Maybe if its fierce or harsh or sad, but generally I assume they are talking with kindness unless otherwise mentioned! Great character development!
I really enjoyed this book, but at time it felt like there was too many side stories happening. It just wasn't necessary. The end felt rushed and it kind of disappointed me because it was the part I was looking forward too and would've loved to have it more developed rather than having time skip ahead. I still really enjoyed this book, so it gets a 3.5 stars.
This is a different type of friend of big brother romance. It is more grounded than others I have read before. Enjoyed the growth of all of the characters.
It has a cute premise, but it was very slow and drawn out. Many thoughts were repeated, all of the characters sound the same, and really the only interesting things that happen are in the last half of the book and go way too quickly.
It doesn't say much for a book that I can read it in 90 minutes. I do love how the writer wrote what was essentially a fanfiction or wattpad story. Little development, repetition etc etc. I really want to know how editors think these sorts of books are ok to pass muster. Ah it's got college, and sex and boys. Must be winner. (And then there's that weird attitude to sex, and weird male chauvinism that seems to be prevalent - the relationship between the brother and sister were weird, totally thought it was going to go down a Virginia Andrews path). It didn't. Shame.
