It's a good start but Meriam's book on dynamics is more advanced and detailed

Particularly useful for anyone interested in controls or flight systems to understand vibrations, multiple axis, and dynamic calculations

I prefer Meriam's Dynamics book to Hibbeler's. Meriam's explanations and illustrations are more clear. The way Hibbeler uses vector mathematics is clumsy, in my opinion.
