Jane B Lee's first novel, allows the reader to follow Lisa as she makes the change from male to female. Go with her on her travels to Asia, and experience her failures and successes as a business owner until the day Lisa takes a spontaneous trip to Hawaii to discover herself. Hawaii brings much more than she expects when the charismatic Dana suddenly walks into her life. But can Dana truly accept Lisa as she is? Will Dana suddenly disappear when the truth comes out? And...is Dana male or female? That is entirely up to you!

This is a fascinating book. I don't think I have ever read anything else quite like it. Lisa is a middle aged business woman with her best friend Paula. But a trans woman still in the process of transitioning. As a man, she'd had two wives and now has two grown up children who are having trouble accepting Dad as Mum. This story would be fascinating enough, but exhausted on a business trip she makes a spur of the moment decision to take a few days off on Hawaii, where she meets and falls in love with Dana. The feeling is well and truly mutual but although I won't give too much of the game away, what gender is Dana? And ultimately, does it matter. If you enjoy having your mind opened, you'll love it.
Truly unique story, with great characters. Travel with Lisa on her journey to "happiness" and the deep lessons she learns. Deep, honest and true friendships, and finally love. I did get a little confused as Dana seemed to unintentionally change genders, but it didn't take away from the story.
This is much better than the other stuff this author has done, but again it’s weird she reviews her own stuff to get those ratings up seems sketchy tbh
