By day, quiet and reserved Samantha Peters worked for a high-end wedding planner. By night she was a top-notch agent with Miami Confidential. Then she met sexy Alex Graham after tragedy struck outside the Weddings Your Way salon, and Samantha had trouble keeping her two lives separate.

Being with Alex brought out Samantha's protective instincts - and the wild side she tried so hard to keep hidden - when she and Alex became the targets of a dangerous enemy. Samantha had to remain focused, or jeopardize the work and the team. After all, forming attachments to victims was wrong...even if being with Alex felt so right....

First of all I must say that I love that Samantha is a kick ass FBI agent undercover. We need more books that have more "woman power". The characters were believable and the story and plot itself were believable, however I find a lot of the characters didn't just "mesh" properly, especially in an emotional sense.

Samantha was a secret FBI agent at night and a wedding planner during the day. When her wedding planning business stumbled upon a crime and crime scene Samantha was forced into action merging both her daytime and nighttime careers.

Alex was Samantha's clients brother and he was aware what happened when the crime took place, he was also falling desperately in love with Samantha. With a hit-man on the loose, a couple of secret FBI agents, a fireman and a whole lotta funky chemistry this book will keep you entertained, at least for a little bit.

The premise of the series is pretty unbelievable - an undercover fbi group whose cover is a wedding planning business? But the premise of this particular book is even more unbelievable - one bride gets kidnapped and another hurt in the process, the hurt bride's brother works with the fbi agents (while still thinking they are just wedding planners!) to find who is behind it all. It many places the plot was so convoluted I couldn't even follow the logic. On the plus side, the writing style itself wasn't all that bad.

The first in a series about secret agents who work as wedding planners by day.

Samantha Peter's two jobs collide when one bride goes missing and another is hit by a car. Working with the injured bride's brother, she becomes the target of a hired killer and has to fight to keep her cover.

Plenty of suspense to keep you on your toes and a hint of romance.

Grabbed it to read while sitting next to the bonfire and decided to finish the last couple chapters before bed last night.

Entertaining, I wasn't impressed by Samantha's "secret." Plus, the ease of forgiveness and how happy everyone is at the end, despite bothered me.

I loved this story. Poor Alex. He thought there was something odd about Samantha Peters. That she was hiding something. Wearing her boxy suits. Boy I bet he wasn't ready for the surprise when he found out. I laughed at parts of the book. Felt sorry for Alex and loved Samantha.

Another awesome book by B.J. Daniels.

This was dumb, which I expected, but also boring, which I did not expect. So little is done with the wedding planning premise, and yet the “intrigue” plot is also limp and underdeveloped. The romance is similarly uninspired and did NOT earn an engagement ending after such a brief and underwhelming courtship. Just a dull, nothing burger of a book with a cover more interesting than its pages.

Samantha is a wedding planner with a secret. She has to keep back from Alex. He can't find out her secret. They are both trying to find out where his sister's fiancé is. No one knows who is the bad guy.
