The seven deadly sins have never thrived like this. David Walden, or "Weatherman" as he is known at Morty's Shoe Company, leads a cast of characters hell-bent on following the big bad seven. Throughout "Playpen", three important ingredients for success---fine product, smooth teamwork and sales support---are constantly at odds with and confronted by sexual shenanigans and marketing skullduggery. Successful companies and their employees sometimes deal with wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy and gluttony. "Playpen"---it's action and There's a car chase through the mall, a gunfight (sort of), fist fights, flashbacks, gambling, sex and stealing, and the car chase gets sucked into a tornado. Meanwhile, David is writing a book about the whole darn shootin' match. (Who knew that matches could shoot?) The author, Douglas Walter, was born in New Brunswick, NJ, and graduated from Loyola University Chicago. He has written four other "Eimaj's a Beauty", "Pantherville", "Bonfire, Man!", and "Stress Boys". He lives in Richmond, VA.
