After reading "A Doll's House" in school and again in this volume, it's interesting to read other plays by Ibsen. I don't think any of these plays have quite the power of "A Doll's House," except possibly "The Wild Duck" and "Enemy of the People." And it's interesting how often madness, suicide, and secrets figure into the plays. All in all, as critics point out, Ibsen's work is more modern than other drama of the day. Well worth the read.
