Fairly good historical survey of Congregational Churches but lacks citations. Primarily a historical survey that doesn't really get into issues of theology or historical practices.

I appreciate the honest presentation of this book as it tells of the begining and growth of Congregationalism but also of some of mistakes of this movement throughout the years. I find it an inspiration as well as a challenge for any Christian movement.
