I think this book could be an essential handbook for the food and beverage servers of the world. David Perry writes in a humorous tongue-in-cheek manner while also passing on important information to those who work in the restaurant business. He adds in witty anecdotes of his life as a musician and a server to give examples. I had a fun time reading this book. I know now I made the right choice not to be a food and beverage server when I began my working life. It takes a special type of personality, that I don't possess. Be kind to your waitresses and waiters.
