Mooi. Intiem.
Ik vraag me af hoeveel mensen die raam scene herkennen van hun eigen teenage years. Het blijft troostend te weten dat het ja kiezen een bewuste continue keuze blijft.

I devoured this book on the way back from the tattoo appointment where I purchased it, and found myself tearing up on the train.

The art style is incredibly beautiful but it is the words which last and linger. Reading this book is a window into a healing soul and the wounds that have shaped it. Just as the premise itself is complexity emerging from a simple challenge, stirring up old pains, so too does what seems straightforward become deeply and painfully compelling.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves good quality art and emotionally intense media. It stays with you, long after the reading.
