Emma Broch Stuart loves people and listening to their stories. Her heart aches for the broken and she longs to walk hand-in-hand with them through their storm. Although life's challenges and hardships have matured her in ways she never imagined, she's decided there are some things she will never grow out of: decorating Valentine boxes, being addicted to cherry limeades, and loving her grandchildren. She recently returned to the Midwest after living in Europe for fourteen years.

My six-year-old son read The Windkeeper with me and we both really enjoyed the story. As you get to know each of the four gusts of wind, their purpose in traveling to Earth from Heaven is not immediately made clear. You'll want to get to the end to understand the significance of wind to God, and when you do reach the last page you're met with the most satisfying and heart-warming conclusion. The Windkeeper is not only a special story, it would make an excellent play for a school or church youth group.
