2.5 stars.

The story is interesting and I kept turning pages until.......the underwhelming ending happens, I don't really like the explanation of who is the real killer and the motive (so a 13 years old boy is the killer who is willing to curse 12 people to death in order to get the inheritance? Somehow this kid is just that cold blooded and manipulative, totally out of nowhere?)

Even more damaging is that among the large crew of characters, I don't care about any of them because they are so woody as characters.

*sighs* I wish the next book will be better!
