This collection of poems are painstakingly honest, poignant and will truly resonate with anyone who knows the turmoil of life and the difficult decisions we find ourselves having to live with. These verses are at times hard to swallow, but you'll breathe easy when you make it to the end. Embrace the ups and downs, the chaos of a broken heart, the brutal rawness of loss and grief. Our breaking points are the defining moments of our lives, making us stronger, more human. Pain and suffering is not beautiful, but the recovery process is. This prose and poetry takes you on a journey with painful twists and turns - destination unknown. The journey, although tumultuous, is a breathtaking one. - L. J. Diaz, Author

I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway. I thank you for making it available to me this way. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this collection of poems. I felt many emotions while reading. The poem that stood out to me was Mother. You can tell the pain behind it and it made me feel some type of way.
