Lara McKenzie can't believe anyone would want to interview her about placing first in the annual self-pleasure fundraiser. An educator, she also writes books helping women to achieve more fulfilling sex lives. Now if only she could fulfill her own!Mark Whitman, freelance reporter, has just scored an easy assignment—write an article for Total Man Magazine about Lara McKenzie, sex educator and obvious expert on self-pleasure. He expects to find a bookish geek, not a red-hot redhead! When his one-time assignment turns into a request for a full-time job writing with Lara, Mark has to lie to Lara to convince her to co-author the articles. Soon they're steaming up the sheets in the bedroom and on the pages of the magazine and Mark is in way over his head. The truth may set you free, but Mark's afraid when Lara finds out the truth, he'll lose not only the job of his dreams, but the woman he loves.

Nice short read

I really enjoyed this short story about Mark and Lara. I wish it had been a bit longer. More of a complete ending such as where they decide to live.

I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, I did enjoy the storyline and wanted to actually get through this novella. On the other, I found some of the writing a little bit clunky and more of a challenge to get through. I'll still read more of Jaci Burton, but this definitely wasn't one of my favourites.

I really enjoyed the idea of a sex specialist who is somewhat awkward. I loved the disconnect between real life experience and academic intelligence. Alright, it hit a few too many clichés, but Lara was still a fun character to get to know.

I didn't like Mark as much as Lara. He was kind of a dick and user. And yes, he was redeemed by love. But in the end, he gave up pretty much nothing to get what he wanted. The stereotypical sexy journalist that I just didn't get excited by.

Whilst this was a fun story, it hit a lot of clichés and was a bit tedious at points. Whilst I enjoyed the hour it took to read this, it's definitely not one that I would read again.

NICE ROMANTIC,STEAMY READ. CHARACTERS MARK & LARA HE'S A JOURNALIST, SHE'S AN EXPERT ON FEMALE SEXUALITY. TRUTH BE KNOWN LARA IS AN EXPERT, ONLY LET'S SAY SHE DOESN'T PRACTICE WHAT SHE CAN PREACH, BECAUSE YOU CAN ONLY DO SO MUCH WITHOUT A PARTNER. THIS IS A PREDICTABLE SORT OF ROMANCE BUT AREN'T THEY ALL, I REALLY LIKED THIS ONE THOUGH. SEX SCENCES WERE REAL GOOD, IT WILL GET YOUR MOTOR GOING. THE COVER IS NICE BUT I HAD TO STARE IT A MINUTE BEFORE I FIQUIRED OUT WHAT THE HECK (WTF)IT ACTUALLY WAS. YAY ME!!!!

I thought this story was boring and cheesy for Jaci Burton. She usually has really hot intimate scenes but this story was just blah.

Cute quick read that brings two very similar individuals who fall madly in love with each other & have steamy sex. Typical HEA after a betrayal
