Piglet is distressed to find that he can't reach the teacups in Pooh's cupboard, and decides that being small is definitely a disadvantage. But as he bumps into each of his friends, helping some, learning from others, he discovers that many wonderful things in the world are indeed small, and he comes to realize that he is perfect just the way he is.

Piglet is having another of those days where he feels small and useless. He wanders through a wintry Hundred-Acre Wood meeting his friends one by one and slowly realizing that being small is wonderful indeed.

Very very been there, done that, including Eeyore losing his tail for the umpteenth time even.

(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here:

I thought this book was super awesome and had a cute message about realizing that our differences make us unique in this world. Piglet is discouraged that he is small and can’t do some of the things his friends can do. Throughout the book Piglet runs into his friends and they are able to make him feel better when they ask him to do tasks that they can’t do because they are larger animals. Piglet realizes that being small is not so bad after all and even though he is small, he is important and worth it.

Piglet feels a little blue over his smallness after nearly running out of breath to get to Pooh Bear's house and failing to get to the tea cups while helping set up for honey and tea. Pooh reminds him that the bees are small, but no less important. This sets Piglet on a small journey of self-discovery with help from Tigger, Roo and Eeyore in learning that perhaps being small is not so bad afterall. Sometimes, you are perfect just the way you are.

Out & About with Pooh: A Perfect Little Piglet
- Rita Balducci

In this volume, Piglet is feeling a bit bad about himself because he isn't the same size and doesn't have the same talents as others. He quickly learns that he's the perfect size to be himself, and that he has talents too!

4/23/22: Cute book about Piglet from the 100 Acre Woods. All about him being too small to do anything useful again (sort of like the Little Dinosaur) and Piglet also saves the day. Cute and one I hope my grandchild will like.
