Ties That Bind, a fast-paced steamy almost other-worldly romance 4 stars
AMY BLANKENSHIP has written a very dark and steamy, almost other-worldly romance with TIES THAT BIND. The Hart family owns a huge isolated resort on a mountaintop. Angel, her brother Tristian and other family members rush back to Sanctuary by helicopter as soon as they get word that Isabel, the matriarch, has had a serious heart attack. Sanctuary is not what it pretends to be. TIES THAT BIND is a great fast riveting summer read if you are looking for something you can sink your teeth into for a few hours. Be sure to bring plenty of cold water with you when you begin the read and try to stay calm. This book is not for the faint of heart or anyone that can't handle heavy breathing, if you get my drift.
AMY BLANKENSHIP's cover art is perfect for TIES THAT BIND. The print is easy on the eyes and well-spaced. While the book may need a good edit, it does not detract from its fast-paced action. TIES THAT BIND is a real page-turner. You'll want to read it in one sitting, I did.
