This was August's first book...so I really wanted to love it...but I'm afraid I was disappointed. It was very predictable and did not have much depth. It reminded me of the adventure stories you read in middle school.
I really wanted to like this, I loved the idea. After the first two chapters, I just couldn't keep going, the writing was just bad. The average sentence had 4-5 words in it, and it was just painful.
