Enlightening. I didn't expect to be interested in the essays on aging, but those were actually quite useful--or rather, will be useful in the future as I get older. The section most relevant was the last one, on consciousness (the subject of my senior inquiry project). Steven Pinker's essay "The Mystery of Consciousness" was well-written and informative, and, since it is linked, convenient to access, so read it.
