Basic Blacksmithing: Blacksmithing the Australian Way

Rate this book
Blacksmithing is more of an art than a science and as an art form it has declined over the years as technology has taken over the world. But that should not stop the average handyman or craftsman from pursuing this very satisfying hobby. This book is aimed at the beginner, someone just wishing to get started but not really knowing how. So the book takes the reader through the basics of terminology, tooling and building and working a cheap and simple forge. But it also has some information for the more experienced smiths, like steel information and metal finishes; such as plating, passivation, hot blueing, anodizing and parkerizing.
