Michael Jaco strays into an area that many who work in dangerous careers, finds after awhile. The only question is: will the man or woman acknowledge the mysterious and paranormal world that they are entering. I've not seen this phenomena and experience explain so well and simply as has this author done. He's the real deal. And the psychic ability he's not only discovered, but utilized to a high degree, is something we all have. Most of us just aren't pushed to those limits to discover it. This is an important book. I commend the author for his honesty. It's a book that can also teach, instruct and open doors in the reader if that is the path they choose. Michael is truly a warrior in EVERY sense.

This is the coming together of many other books I've read. The collection and presentation of the material is amazing. It was like the books before have been stepping stones to this book!

In The Intuitive Warrior by Michael Jaco, former Navy SEAL Michael Jaco explains how everyone has a hidden intuitive potential that can be unlocked through, positive thinking, meditation, and a belief that it is possible. This intuition lead Jaco to sense an ambush before it even started, and here other people's thoughts. This may seem impossible and Jaco even admits that he was skeptical at first. However Jaco explain that because of Quantum Physics all thoughts send out vibrations and once you gain your intuition you can recognize these vibrations. When Jaco was on a combat deployment he could feel a suicide bomber's anger and hate several days in advance to when he believes their safehouse would be hit. Jaco concentrated on "sending out the emotion of love" and could see the suicide bomber in his car. The suicide bomber eventually gave up on his mission and did not atack. It is here that Jaco shows that intuition can work in very positive ways as well as sensing negativity. Jaco writes in a very clear and down to earth way explaining things several times through science religion and mathematics. These short chapters make this book very easy to read which is great to absorb the maximum amount of knowledge. On one occasion a Navy SEAL squad was on a training mission that was supposed to assault a target guarded by Marines. "On the way to the target the point man stopped and made everyone sprint the other way and abort the mission. The marines later asked why this was. They could see the SEAL squad and right before they entered the kill zone they sprinted the other way. The point man explained that he could feel the excitement of the marines." This was my favorite part of the book since after that the rest of the team believed in this intuitive skill and improved their nonverbal communications. Jaco explained that after this the entire squad could move silently through a swamp and could hear what the others were thinking through telepathy. I think that this goes to show that there is much more to being a Navy SEAL then just killing people like much of society seems to think.I think that this is a great book and a must read for anyone that would like to improve themselves.

I liked the book, but it was more inspirational than practical. I wish the author would have taught more about how to harness the intuitive nature that he shows we all have.

Great book to finding yourself and loving all others.

I know Michael , from his channel on YouTube, I follow him daily. He talks about his books and I thought I would check it out. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and found it very intriguing. Especially as we're involved in the Great Awakening right now. We all need to learn his gifts that he's had in his life to incorporate them into our own lives. I find his life's story very interesting, my own husband entered the Marines at the exact same time as Michael entered the Navy. I'm glad I read his book because it allowed me to see the similarities and differences in their careers.

Somewhat entertaining through the anecdotes, but doesn't provide much more than very vague and general information about tapping into the sort of intuitive power he describes. There's some utility in the stories, and the occasional nugget of general advice, but not much if one is looking for a structured approach to developing one's intuition. Not a bad place to start if one is interested in the topic of psy abilities, but not the incredible handbook the title would have you believe it is.

Interesting book!

I was wanting to develop my intuition. There was lots of info on that here. Plus, I got to learn about the personal life, military career, and security career of the author. The book gave many insights on life, spirituality, and practical wisdom.

Lots of repeat examples and generalities about being in command. The book could have been distilled. The take away message is that the author is given a gift of intuition which he develops over time. Presumably we all have this capability.

This book started out as I expected, with info about the author's time in the military and his experiences there in an interesting, engaging way, dealing with things like teamwork and overcoming your fears.

The second half of the book, however, went totally out of control. It reads like the delusional diary of a drugged spiritualist, and deals with topics such as reincarnation, week-long meditations, new age theories and the strange notion that in a war, if soldiers think thoughts full of love, they can stop the enemy side from launching their rockets and firing their bullets.

I really considered tossing the book out altogether when the author claimed that a past self of his was a direct disciple of Jesus. Later on, he also claims he's met an Archangel. I'm not even religious, but that was just too ridiculous. With claims like these, to me, he's lost all credibility as an author.

In my opinion, they should have just published the first half of the book and left it at that.

Jaco has thoughts to share that are worth holding in your head a while, before moving on to the next one. So, I read a little bit and then set it aside. I suspect that he would convey his message better in person than he does in print, but at present the book is his most likely resource to disseminate what he has learned.
..............
The book is written almost entirely as a first person re-telling of Jaco's experiences. A remarkably successful Navy Seal and defense contractor, he certainly has amazing stories to tell. However, the excessive use of the word 'I' detracts from one of the books premises, which is not letting the ego control one's self. If we take Jaco at his word, that he simply wanted to share what he has learned with others, I would say he should have collaborated with a more experienced author to get his message delivered.

As I said before, there are ideas here worth holding onto and testing out in real life. For that reason, I'd recommend reading the book and sifting through to glean what makes sense for the reader.

Currently in the middle of this book, so the rest may or may not surprise me. I really identify with a lot of what Jaco is saying, that pushing your limits in the right way can liberate your intuition. Some of the examples and approaches that he uses in the book strongly suggest that he's spent some time either with Tom Brown Jr. (who does train Navy Seals) or with someone associated with him. So far the book is a bit vague on method, but really, the kind of in the moment exertion that Seals experience in their training is excellent for developing this kind of mindset.
I do have to say, regretfully, that someone needed to edit this book. It is a bit of a slog at times because of the writing style. Worth it, though.
For a similar book try "Unbeatable Mind" by Mark Divine. A similar Navy Seal experience.

The rest didn't surprise me

Ironic, but not shocking, the thing I walked away with the most after reading a book written by a former Navy Seal, perhaps the world's most lethal, thorough warriors, is the power of love, and belief. Mr. Jaco lost me on some of his spiritual twists and turns, but over all I enjoyed the read. Also, I really would have liked more daily, regimented meditative or cognitive practices that I could adopt. Hooyah!
