I love writing and illustrating stories for kids!

Stories are fun, but it’s more than that...each book a child reads is a doorway into understanding more about herself and more about the world she lives in.

I want to create those doorways—to laughter,  to learning, to imagined worlds, and most importantly... to connecting with each other.

Book Three in the Midge and Moo series is just as delightful as the first two books in Kerry McQuaide's adventure stories about a little girl and her beloved best friend, Moo. This time, Midge and Moo are learning to count to ten. Each page has a number with corresponding objects that are familiar and easy for little ones to identify, such as jelly beans. Perfect book to introduce children to numbers and counting. The bright and colorful illustrations will keep a child interested. I would recommend McQuaide's Midge and Moo books for ages zero to five. Each new book adventure focuses on a new subject and teaches younger children the importance of friendship and sharing. There are five books in the series.

A simple first numbers book that translates well to kindle. The illustrations are clear and uncomplicated. Moo is Midge's best friend and the two learn together.

Each number up to ten has a dedicated page, one with a picture of Moo with the number and also a page with the appropriate number of favourite things like cars, balloons etc.

A nice little book for beginners.

"Moo Knows Numbers: a learn to count book" is book 3 of the "The Adventures of Midge and Moo" series. Midge and her toy black-and-white cow, Moo, are best friends. In this delightful counting book, Moo is learning to count to ten. Your young child can learn to count, too.

Kerry McQuaide has both written and illustrated this cute counting book. Your child will be happy to have Moo along on this counting adventure. Moo is sitting next to, climbing or hiding behind the numbers. Then various objects demonstrate how many of them would make up a given number: two shoes, three butterflies, four balloon animals, five cars etc.

This is a fun book. Your child will love it!

Note: Kerry McQuaide has both written and illustrated the books in this series. Each book of this series can stand alone and be enjoyed by itself, but it is fun to read the whole series to your child.

Midge is teaching Moo how to count. Being best friends, they do everything together. Moo seems to get the hang of it right away. Moo gets to celebrate each number he gets right. Midge is very proud of Moo.

The illustrations and simple language will help hold your little ones attention. Using them to teach your child to count couldn't be easier and keeps them engaged in the book. Moms will love these short little books with wonderful lessons on friendship and more. Add these to your child's library.

I found no issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because I'm all for children's books that teach a lesson. ~Copy of book provided by author in exchange for a fair review~

This Midge and Moo tale is a colorful learn-to-count book with bright numbers facing bright illustrations of familiar objects. Kids will enjoy counting cup-cakes, cars and more, or spotting Moo hiding in the numbers, reclining on the number two, or resting within the zero of number ten.

The book is short, brightly illustrated, and nicely uncomplicated, making pointing and counting easy for small children. Meanwhile the one and only Moo is a pleasing teacher too.

Short and fun, this book would be a good first introduction to numbers.

Disclosure: I was a given an ecopy and I offer my honest review.

Moo Knows Numbers is a colorfully illustrated and engaging picture book that teaches little ones to count from one to ten in a fun and entertaining way.

Moo is just adorable and appears throughout the book playfully posing with each number. Parents can also help instill learning by counting the objects with their children as numbers are introduced.

Simple text and large bold illustrations make Moo Knows Numbers a great book for little readers.

I recommend picking up a copy as well as checking out the other books in the series.
