Powerful Ancestor!
This is book 2 of this very captivating series, after I finished book 1, i was going to read something else, but I wanted to just take a peak at the 2nd book and here I am reviewing it because I could not stop reading it, it's that good! So now we are going to read Savon's brother Bran and frenchy Evangeline's story and man is it full of action and mystery.
Bran Rountree, Savon's brother and her mate Nate's best friend is so very happy that his sister and his best friend are finally together after so many years of suffering. Now if he could only achieve the same for himself with the only woman he knows will complete him Evangeline, she is a Dreamwalker she pulled Nate out of his coma 3 years ago and was his late wife's friend. He knew from the moment he first laid eyes on her that there was something special that pulled him to her, but never acted on it out of love for his wife. It has been 3 years since his wife's passing, but Evangeline still avoids him and he will do all in his power to woo her, he will show her that they are meant to be together come hell, or high water.
Evangeline was sold to the Alpha of Silvertail Ridge when she was just a girl of 19, she saw and lived through things no teenager should have to, but so was her life with the kind of father she has.. Dear Dad only calls on her when he needs something from her using her twin to convince her, but this time he has gone to far and things are about to get very messy when Evangeline comes into a power that has been dormant for centuries. Evangeline finally accepts that Bran is her life mate and together they are a force to be reckoned with as they fight an evil that would destroy mankind if it is allowed to go lose.

There are times when I go to write a review and the words just don't come - there are not adequate words to describe the book, characters and plot....and this is one of them. I LOVED this book, the location, the plot, the characters, the blending of characters from one series to another....YEP, you guessed it, I just loved this book!! Author Brandy Rivers has jumped to the top of my favorite author list and each time she has a new book I feel like it can't be any better than the one before it, but she just keeps getting better and better...I would be hard pressed to choose a favorite book by her, and I hope that I never have to pick just one!!
Bran and Evangeline are the awesome together, and it took them long enough to figure that out!! I loved the way that they fell in love, the pace of the book was non stop - there literally was no stopping point in the story...the reader became a resident of Silvertail Ridge and never wanted to leave. The author wove an amazing tale that is a roller coaster of a ride that loops, curves, dips and throws the reader off balance so often that they may need a dramamine to recover!
If you haven't read anything by this author, do it NOW!! She is a can't miss and her stories are amazing!!

This book has officially made my TOP FAVORITE BOOKS OF 2017 list!
Addictive and action-packed, Dreams Of Change had be GLUED to my e-reader! That prologue immediately captured my attention and I absolutely LOVED how it connected with the story.
Ever since I read book 1 in the series (interconnected standalone novels), I was super interested in Bran. I knew his story would be good and Brandy L Rivers did not disappoint at all! Swoon-worthy and protective, Bran was one hot alpha! I loved how much he loved Evangeline. He'd stop at nothing to keep her safe from her father and the evil that came with him.
As the story unfolded, I found myself even more immersed in what was happening. Talk about a page-turner! It was also really nice seeing some of the characters from the other series cross over! It felt like I was seeing old friends.
Man, there was so much love and intense chemistry between the couples in this book! SO. MUCH. PASSION. Gosh, I loved everything about this book. Every, single thing!! A MUST READ for sure!! Whether you love Paranormal Romances or not, give this book a shot! I would suggest reading book 1, Sleepwalker, prior but it's not absolutely necessary. FIVE STARS!

Once again I am absolutely blown away by the world that has been created with this series. Every single page pours out magic and mystery that leads you on an amazing adventure that wraps you up instantly. The first book in this series set the bar incredibly high and Dreams Of Change went above and beyond that bar.
There is so much more to Evangeline that I could even begin to imagine from when we first met her. She is a mystery herself with one surprise after another being revealed until we finally see the true and amazingly resilient woman that she is. Her entire life has been one of betrayal and abuse, escaping her father's evil grasp as long as possible until it involves her sister. Her unwavering devotion to saving her sister is just a small part of her that shows the loyal and loving woman she truly is.
Finally ready to act of the feelings she's run from for years when it comes to Bran, she's called to come to the aid of her ailing sister and has to leave immediately. That's when we really get to see the full abilities of a dreamwalker. The love between Bran and Evangeline spanned hundreds of miles even in the very start. Thrown into her father's twisted plan they work together to save so many people while their relationship grows into something incredible.
I can't wait to read the next in this series!

Dreams of Change Branches of Emrys Book 2

Oh my! What a spectacular, talented, amazing, fascinating, showstopping, which her story is never the same But it's feels so like a phenomenal community. So I really (really) enjoyed Dreams of Change Branches of Emrys series. There is so much I adored about this book. The is , it's so delightful and there is so much warmth to this novel and I enjoyed it from the first page to the last page with the timing and the pace of this romance is just perfect. I enjoyed reading these two characters move through the various stages in their relationship, from their disagreements to their heart-felt love declarations at the moment of possible death. This book features Bran Roantree and Evangeline Laurent. Bran is second in command to the Alpha who is his half brother and his half sister's mate. Very few knew Bran and Nate shared a father. Evangeline has a of lot secrets. One being the fact her father has used her as a bargaining chip more times than she cares to remember. But she is now ready to tell Bran her secrets and let him in on her secrets. WOW I must tell you that the sexual tension is delicious and the romance delectable, there is lots of action. I know this because I am not a stranger to Brandy L Rivers books and I have read book 1 so that smut slore that lives inside of me is always happy to be reading the steamy sex in this novel. Well unfortunately for me I then required a number fans. Oh my I squealed and thank the romance gods who saw fit to test me this way! And then, in the next breath I thanked Brandy for testing me this way because everything is so exciting and Hot! I so dislike it when the main characters have pop-up genitals useful for the rando sex that drove the plot nowhere I like the sex scenes with meaning too! It's good to see two characters actually behave like real people and not grow and change overnight. Evangeline is now full of energy and potent magic, she's a fantastic heroine to follow. She isn’t perfect by any stretch of your imagination. She had deep-seated abandonment and attachment issues, because of who caused the heartbreaking and untimely death of her first mate even though he deserve it. She is torn when she falls for Bran, because he's one of Killian's son but they couldn’t be more perfect for one another. Of course it's predictable in ways romance novels often are, but it's Fascinating with the character development being very refreshing. Though this story felt absolutely puuurrrfect, there are some flawed and imperfect characters in the story. Oh well you can't have it all. Like their father I did NOT like his high-handed slick ways and It made me happy that the sister got little payback, but even in those moments, I got this feeling of amazing things and I didn’t want the story to end. But on the whole every scenes served their purpose to provide yet another dimension and layer to a fabulous and delightful romance.But I'm always happy when the author allows the visit of the prior characters with enough detail that makes the reading of all the earlier novels a bonus and not a necessity. This is a awesome book to add to your TBR list. It's intriguing with rousing drama with a HEA. It's a well paced, romantic and heartwarming! I recommend this AWESOME story to any reader who enjoys reading a Awesome paranormal romance. I rated this story five stars because I absolutely enjoyed reading this fabulous story by Brandy l. Rivers she creates a phenomenal paranormal worlds. I find her books are so entertaining that it makes me want to binge read for a couple of weeks to catch up on all of her books that I haven't read. This is the second book in the Branches of Emrys series and I am totally loving this series!!! This is Bran Roantree and Evangeline Laurent's story and there is a pretty big story here.
Bran has loved Evangeline for years but it seems there has always been something keeping them apart. Evangeline has finally agreed to a date but has disappeared when he shows up to pick her up. This is the beginning of a whole lot of trouble, but through it all Bran and Evangeline work towards finding their happiness. Along the way they manage to save some Others, find some really cool weapons, and get rid of some bad guys!
Once again, Brandy L. Rivers has written a story that grabs you from the very beginning and takes you on an fantastic adventure.

This story has a little bit of everything and of course shifters but the story takes you all over with witches, mages and all the stuff dreams are made of. Evangeline has wanted Bran since she met him but he was married to Margaret and she would never cross the line but she did enter his dreams because she lost her magic when she became a Shifter.
Bran has always felt something for Evangeline but being married put a damper on it but after Margaret died he let himself hope. When Evangeline's sister is fading fast her father Oliver tricks her into coming home to help her sister and instead ends up in the fight of her life. Can anyone save her sister or will Evangeline succumb to the dangers of the cave?

Dreams of Change is the second installment in the new series, Branches of Emrys, by Brandy L Rivers. This book focuses on Bran Roantree and Evangeline Laurent. Bran has always been attracted to Evangeline and it looks the like the feelings are mutual. However, she needs to be free of her father before she can commit to Bran.
As always Brand L Rivers continues to write books filled with magic that entrap any reader. The characters have strong personalities, chemistry and of course their HEA. This new series like her others does not disappoint. She is a talented author and who is always an automatic read.

Wow, this was another great story. I was sucked In from the start. Bran and Evangeline are one hot power couple. Loved having some of the Others I came to love. Evangeline loved Bran from the start but was scared because she thought he wasn't ready to let go of his dead wife. Then she got called away before they could have there first date because her sister needed her. There is just so much content I just can't explain it all. The ending had me holding my breath and now I'm just wondering what's next. I received an advanced copy for an honest review.

Another winner!
This is so good I couldn't put it down. We are now getting Bran & Evangeline's story and it is jam packed with adventure, danger, family dysfunction and of course magic. Evangeline's father gets what's coming to him, couldn't happen soon enough for me. I love how much new information and how many more pieces of this world we are getting to see. I get the feeling that Jay's story is coming soon.

As usual the story telling the characters the plot Twist are brilliant, the characters of believable in a relationships. This story leeds into More more stories More books. I so so love this book just wow it's freaking awesome!!!!! I so love Bran and Evangeline these two have been thourgh so much. Then there is a lot of the other characters that I so love in this book to. I just got say Evangeline father is a big time butt munch and I so would like kick his butt for the things he did to his daughters. It took me a bit to sort out the series. Now I'm all in! I'm glad Bran and Evangeline finally found each other. A twin a need? Gates mates? More magic and intrigue in this story. There are a lot of twists and surprises. A real page turner. Brandy l Rivers has become one of !y favorite authors. Looking forward to reading 📚 not of the silvertail stories . I'm certain of you give this series a read you'll be hooked too.

I love these overlapping worlds that Brandy L Rivers creates.
It's great when new characters are introduced or get their chance to shine but I particularly like that every time existing characters make appearances we learn a little more about them.
A great book. Great characters and story. Looking forward to the next one.

I think the book is very well written. I just didn't like this book as much as I liked the first one in the series. I would recommend reading it if you have ever read any of the Other's books.

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.
How does Brandy L. Rivers do it every time I read a book I think this is the best one yet and then she writes another one. The connection between Bran and Evangeline is like no other. The side characters are amazing too.
Evangeline knows there is something between her and Bran but she just cannot give in to her feelings. She has lived with betrayal, deceit, and abuse by the ones that should love her the most. Bran has set his feelings for Evangeline aside because of his love for his wife. Now three years after his wife’s death and no longing being able to deny the fact that Evangeline is his mate he acts on his feelings. Due to Evangeline loyalty for her sister she agrees to leave town on her and Bran’s first date to check on her sister. However, her father has other plans when she arrives and could cost her Bran.
This story grabbed me and drug me in making me want to find out more and more what was going to happen next. The world that Brandy was able to build with this was amazing. What wasn’t there to like there was werewolf’s, werelynx, dream walkers, witches, and more. Plus there were strong females, alpha males, fight scenes wow does Brandy have a way with these things. I have not found a series of Brandy’s that I do not like so far and this one is headed right to the top. I cannot wait to see what she has instore for me to read next.

How does Brandy L. Rivers do it every time I read a book I think this is the best one yet and then she writes another one. The connection between Bran and Evangeline is like no other. The side characters are amazing too.
Evangeline knows there is something between her and Bran but she just cannot give in to her feelings. She has lived with betrayal, deceit, and abuse by the ones that should love her the most. Bran has set his feelings for Evangeline aside because of his love for his wife. Now three years after his wife’s death and no longing being able to deny the fact that Evangeline is his mate he acts on his feelings. Due to Evangeline loyalty for her sister she agrees to leave town on her and Bran’s first date to check on her sister. However, her father has other plans when she arrives and could cost her Bran.
This story grabbed me and drug me in making me want to find out more and more what was going to happen next. The world that Brandy was able to build with this was amazing. What wasn’t there to like there was werewolf’s, werelynx, dream walkers, witches, and more. Plus there were strong females, alpha males, fight scenes wow does Brandy have a way with these things. I have not found a series of Brandy’s that I do not like so far and this one is headed right to the top. I cannot wait to see what she has instore for me to read next.

Dreamwalking and so much more!
This paranormal romance features the pack from Silvertail Ridge and a few of our favorites from Edenton. This time the focus is on Bran and Eva. There is lots of love and evil for all to overcome. And now a bit about the story...
Eva may have finally decided to stop running from Bran. But first they have to deal with her father and the dark mystic he has been feeding. There is also a bit of history and a few long lost loves. It's important to remember dreams do come true!
