Hello Kitty wants to get a present for Dear Daniel but can't decide what. She asks her friends for ideas but they aren't easy to wrap... Then she comes up with a way to combine all these ideas into one perfect gift for Daniel!
I've never been a big fan of hello kitty, but my daughter grabbed this book off the shelf at the library, and since I never say no to a book she picked herself, we checked it out and brought it home.
This story was ok. It was about Hello Kitty trying to find the perfect gift for her boy friend. It goes through all the different things she likes and other friends like, but trying to find something that David likes was hard. In the end she found something that included everything that everyone else liked but that he would like too.
It wasn't a great plot and the illustrations weren't anything super special. My daughter stayed interested enough, so it's a solid 3 stars. But it didn't blow my mind away... and I wasn't expecting it to either.
36 months - O likes Hello Kitty and enjoyed this. I liked the simple story with a great message where HK spends her time finding just the perfect gift for her friend.
