"Assolutamente glam!" is about the ten most needed clothing articles that should exist in the wardrobe of a modern woman. Some of these articles include: the little black dress, the perfect shade of lipstick, at least one white shirt etc.. Each article comes with a little background, how it evolved over time, which movies have appeared and in which combination is better to where them based on our figure. The book was an easy read, it was well structured and the language was adequate even for a person whose first language isn't english. If you aren't familiar with certain brands or movies( since there are a lot of references to old movies) it can't be difficult to follow.

A mi me gusta mucho el mundo de la moda, y si a ti también te gusta este mundillo hermana léalo!!!

El libro se centra en las siguientes prendas, vestido negro, camisa blanca, jersey de cachemir, el collar de perlas, los jean y el poloche/camiseta blanca… y del labial rojo

Te habla de las historias de estas prendas, te habla de películas, música, artistas de todas las ramas, diseñadores de modas etc.

Esta cargado de referencias y es muy interesante, yo me demore en leerlo conque fui haciendo anotaciones de las cosas más relevantes, viendo las películas que me parecían curiosas y buscando información de los diseñadores..

Rychlovka. Zvědavost. Zajímá mě móda. A ještě více styl, protože se stylem to není jen tak.
Kostra knihy je dobrá, prezentuje basics šatníku, které by měl vlastnit opravdu každý. Je ale obalená informacemi, které považuju za nepotřebnou vatu a které bude rozumět jen ten, kdo dobře zná vývoj módy ve 20 století. Na celý knížce mně z hlediska tématu knihy přišlo nejzajímavější shrnutí na koncích kapitol, které obsahovalo opravdu užitečné informace. A věnování autorky (kvůli kterému jsem si ji i půjčila, protože mě zaujalo): "mé matce, která mě naučila, že styl nespočívá ani ve značce, ani v ceně".

"Absolutamente Glam" was a beautiful find for me. I really enjoyed the way in which the book was written, structured and presented. It's basically a checklist of all things a modern woman should posses. A few of these items are: the perfect shade of red lipstick, a pearl necklace, a white button down, a pair of nice jeans and a few others bringing it to a total number of 10. With everything mentioned in the book, there was also presented the way in which each item came to exist, and its background from the historical standpoint. I have definitely found a few new things for myself. I quite enjoyed it.

Entretenido, mucho menos superficial de lo que lo había juzgado.
Bastantes referentes a la cultura pop. Se aprenden atos cocteleros de trasfondo social e historico de forma muy chill.
El mejor capítulo es el del tacón de aguja.

Una guía bastante entretenida de las prendas básicas en el armario de una mujer.
No suele ser mi estilo de libros pero para ser sincera, lo disfrute.
