The author did a nice introduction on how to use the pan, tempering it, cleaning it. A lot of the recipes sounded interesting but as there were no pictures – I won’t try recipes if I can’t see what I’m cooking! Needs pictures! The cover recipe looked good!

It's hard to find good casters skillets

You have to be careful when selecting your great cast-iron skillet most of the skillets made today are made for quality and not quality if you look at the bottom of the skillet on the inside not the outside you'll notice that it feels like sandpaper that'll have to be sanded down smooth otherwise everything sticks no matter how much seasoning somebody's recipes are pretty good I'll have to try them out
