After two long years of being on the force, I had finally made Detective. I thought that I would be solving murders and chasing bad guys, but I was mistaken. I never would have thought that FBI Agent Luis would've picked me to go undercover with him, and I definitely didn't think that it would be for this sort of operation. The nightmares, and the memories of my childhood...They were finally going away, and my life was falling into place. I wouldn't have agreed to do this operation, and as a matter of fact I would've turned it down on the spot, but then I was given a picture of her. Lorena. The wife of a big time human trafficker that sold children for illegal fighting. She was also my first love.

In my opinion 5 stars just isn't enough to cover my love for Caged 2.

I fell in love with the characters, well most of them anyways. I absolutely loved Alex and his ability to stay a child even in the grasp the horrifying life he has been thrown into.

Strong plot line and excellent character personalities. I found myself more then once crying about one thing or another, my emotions were literally on a roller coaster ride while I was reading.

I literally couldn't put this book down even though I had a hard time reading the ending, I'm not a fan of cliff hangers however it worked out perfectly for Caged 2 and I was left wondering what would be coming in book 3.

Hats off to you Destiny, I can't wait to sink my teeth into book 3 and find out what will happen with Rose and Lorena, and I hope that Alex will come out of everything safe and sound.

I was given a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first book that I have read of Destiny Hawkins', and even though this is book two, I was able to get the idea of what had happened in the previous book.
This book follows a young woman named Rose. Rose had a very traumatic childhood, so traumatic that it still comes back to haunt her at the most inopportune times.
Rose is a police officer who has been selected by the FBI to go undercover to try and crack the child trafficking and fighting ring. The one thing that could have swayed her to do it, was the chance to see her first love, Lorena, again.
But going undercover brings up all the bad memories, memories she will have to fight to keep her cover from being blown.
There is a bit a heat, excitement and sadness in this book.
I quite enjoyed it. Although, I felt it started to get a bit rushed toward the end.

OMG!! 2 blows book 1 out of the water!!!

This exciting read has it all and will have you awake and reading until there is no more!!!
Rose is now a policewoman. But after seeing one of her brothers shot down, is put on desk duty. They only way for her to get back out on the streets is to go back to her old school and talk to the kids. While there she meets a girl who went through what she did...the fight clubs are still happening. The FBI ask her to go undercover and get info on Lorena's husband. They know he's behind one of the biggest children's fight rings, but they need someone that knows what's going on to get what they need. Can she get the info, Lorena, and herself out alive?? Or will going back in be enough to break her the rest of the way??

Rose is n longer living in a cage; she's now a peace officer, catching and placing criminals in cages! Working with friends, she's getting her life together. The terrors of her past resurface after a shootout, at work. The drama has Rose trying to calm Abigale (her friend and partner), witnessing a fellow officer dying and Rose being shot! After physically healing and numerous counseling sessions, Rose is ready to return to the streets. The FBI wants Rose (and Abigale) for a specific undercover op. And this is personal... Thrilling continuation to the series! Drama and action that keeps the pages turning! Next book can't arrive too soon... Book free for honest review.

Often with sequel the story can head to ways you might not like. But with this one it was really good and you can see the evolution of the characters as it happens in life. If you liked the first one read this one too you will not be disappointed. If you have not read the first one read it before this one cause it would be a huge spoil.
