The first 29 episodes of Drew Bradley's popular webcomic, Hero ( http://hero.vasegurt.com ) printed on paper in full-color, and professionally bound! This is Volume 1, which is composed of Story Arcs 1 - 3.
I just discovered Goodreads in early January 2010 and Hero: the Beginning: Full Color, my first ARC arrived a few days ago. Wow--what to say about this book. The drawings look like a beginner in computer illustration's drawing with a mouse. I found the story to be trite, with the exception of some of the references, such as when the Henchman and Heroine transform into Jabba the Hut and Princess Leia.
I'm trying to stay openminded but I guess I just don't get it. I went to Drew Bradley's Hero website, http://hero.vasegurt.com/ where it all seems to make more sense as a webcomic. If I were a fan of Drew Bradley, I would probably think this book was the coolest thing ever. I'd love to hear what other people have to say.
