A superb Japanese novel filled with heart warming elements - the love of life, local cultures, interpersonal relationships, happiness brought by delicious food, etc. I particularly like the morale of this story, being wealthy doesn’t necessarily bring happiness. Whilst happiness can be brought by brining happiness to others’ life. Highly recommend this book.
