"11" "69" "15" "25" - Hajime Gritando.

Ele é a kids.
Super recomendo.

As a longtime fan of 4-Koma comedy, I can safely say that Nanbaka: The Numbers is incredibly funny and well worth a read. But the lack of any actual story depth and the eye-straining, obnoxious coloring prevents me from giving volume one anything over 2.5 stars. But, this is not the case for the later chapters (unless if Nanbaka: The Numbers is different from Nanbaka, which I binged a year and a half ago), when the protagonist is placed in solitary confinement with only a stoic guard to keep him company.

After a certain intense turning point in the series, the colors go from from shiny neons to dark reds and shades of gray as the protagonist struggles with his identity. Although some would argue that this tonal shift ruins the series and isolates those who read Nanbaka for the slapstick humor, I disagree. Although I would not necessary say that the intensified mood makes Nambaka a better series, it makes Nanbaka different. For a story to grow, it needs diversity in its storytelling and characters.

Although Nanbaka: The Numbers may not be the most memorable, pretty, or coherent series, I have a lot of admiration for Futamata Shou and the obvious heart they have been putting into Nanbaka over the many years it has been serializing. So thanks, Futamata!

PS: Does anyone know when season three is coming out? I didn't even know Nanbaka had a TV adaption until today, but now that I know I'll be quick to binge the first two seasons and then cry when there isn't anymore to watch.
