There is a sound current that comes from the "Conscious Universal Power Source" like a wave and then returns back. This sound current is said by some to be the power from the Source that created our universe and gave us life. Science is just starting to be able to register this wave.
If you've seen The Secret, you will have heard of the Law of Attraction. But the real law behind this is the Law of Harmonics, or vibration. Like vibrations are attracted to each other like a magnet. Many religions use chanting to raise the individual's vibration to connect with this current.
With Christianity, this has morphed into the singing of hymns, which are very uplifting but not as spiritually charged as chanted words. One that has changed my life, and the lives of millions of others around the world, is HU, pronounced "Hue." HU is a very ancient name for God. Being a skeptic, I did a little research, and it turns out that this name runs through many religions throughout history, including the Celtic pagans, the Sufis (the mystical sect of Islam), the Kabbalah, and the ancient Egyptians.
As Soul, we have total control if we know the right tools. Anyone, of any religion, can do this exercise. When done daily for 15 to 20 minutes, it can give you the ability to have many spiritual experiences and to look at event in daily life differently. It certainly has helped me to raise myself above the muck and mire of the world and see things from a higher state of awareness.
To get past "the insanity and meaningless chatter that overwhelms us each day," find a place to sit where you will not be disturbed, think of something or someone that you love, and gently start to sing "Huuuuu." When you finish singing, sit quietly and see what impressions you receive. This is a wonderful way to get answers and experiences that you desire.

As someone who sings/chants the word HU on a daily basis, I can truly say it's the greatest gift life has given me.

Do you want to have a spiritual experience of contactin the God force itself. Just sing HU the anchient name of God.
