My mum got me this book from a charity shop very cheep the first few pages are all about the geography of the amazon and the history and tribes, then it goes to a explorers and his journey though the amazon and all the tribes he met how he was nearly murdered by gold miners and to top it of loses most of the things in his back-pack apart from 4 soups and needs to walk 90 miles though the jungle. its a amazing book and you'll learn a lot about the amazon and its tribes its a must buy I don't know how its not more popular!

INCREDIBLE book! I enjoyed reading this so much, and would recommend it to anyone 💚✨ It was even more great since being to the Amazon myself as I could relate more and also understand the sheer power that the forest holds.

The only thing - in my opinion it could do with being re-edited as some of the language used is pretty outdated and could be seen as offensive now.
